From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik), on the border of the provinces of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Welcome to "de Hoogt" in Oud Alblas, a monumental farm in the Alblasserwaard. You can stay overnight at 'de Hoogt' in our B&B. On our site is 'Huisje op de terp' which we have transformed into a beautiful cottage, where we ourselves lived for more than two years with great pleasure during the renovation of the farm. "Huisje op de terp" is a 4 pers. cottage with shower, toilet, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Breakfast can be booked as an additional option.

Our rebuild shed is a wonderful place to relax, partly due to alpacas Guus, Joop, Ted, Freek, Bloem and Saar and mini donkeys Bram and Smoky who will greet you on arrival. With Rotterdam and Gouda just around the corner, our casa is a wonderful base for a fun day out! Our casa has a living room, bathroom with shower/toilet and a sleeping loft. Please note there is no extensive cooking facilities.
