Ogura is the descendant of a woodworker who lived with wood. Questioning modern housing that relies on 24-hour air conditioning for comfort, we created a space that feels like a wooden sunbeam, where you can feel the natural wind and sunlight while inside the house. While taking advantage of traditional Japanese carpentry techniques, you can stay comfortably without any inconvenience by incorporating modern facilities. On a dark night when you can see many stars, the sound of birds and the wind, and powdery snow that is so smooth that you can't make snowballs.
