Spacious cottage on wheels between the Frisian lakes

After two years of building ourselves, we are back from a tour of Portugal and Spain with Oerol behind the tractor (March 2024). Oerol is next to our farmhouse. Oerol is well insulated and now extended, which gives a spacious feeling (living room 3.3x4m). There is hot and cold water for kitchen and shower. We live in a meadow bird area between the Frisian lakes. There is a trailer ramp, surf school and a beach within 1.5 km. There is plenty of parking space available. There are beautiful cycling routes nearby.

Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has a beautiful view over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Apartment 't Achterdijkje

't Achterdijkje is a centrally located apartment in the authentic fishing village of Makkum. The view of the sea dike and the masts of the ships in the harbor makes it the perfect location for rest and relaxation. From the front door, you can walk up the dike and have a view of the IJsselmeer and the port of Makkum. Fancy more life in the brewery? The center of Makkum is about 200 meters away, and the beach with restaurants, shops and a top location for windsurfing is about 2.5 km away!

It's a new double apartment. It is an upper floor, with an easy and safe to enter wide staircase and a private entrance. You have no neighbors downstairs. It has a spacious balcony, where you can enjoy the beautiful views. In front of the house is a lake. It is located near to the Elfsteden town of Workum. Partly known for the Jopie Huismanmuseum. Also for kite-surfers it is nearby the Ijsselmeer. From this apartment you can enjoy beautiful cycling or hiking,or relax and enjoy.

Rural accommodation on the Frisian Elfstedenroute

Within walking distance of the center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Eleven Cities Route, is our rural farm. In this rural and water-rich environment, we offer you a spacious room, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/seating area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is possible. We have recently created this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

The Knechtenkamer on the Elfstedenroute

In an authentic farmhouse in the middle of Parrega, the maid's former room has been converted into a cozy and comfortable apartment. Overlooking the Elfstedenroute and a jetty in front of the door, a perfect starting point for a boat or bike ride, refreshing dip, or just a nice cup of coffee on the waterfront. Close by are the towns of Bolsward (6 km) and Workum (6 km) where you can find the beach, restaurants, beautiful local shops and supermarkets.

Welcome to it Haivenhus (the Port House)! A nice apartment located on the port of Hindeloopen. From the spacious garden you can walk up to the harbour. Hindeloopen is located on the IJsselmeer and a good base for nature walks. In the spring and summer it is bustling with conviviality. The marina is a 5-minute walk from a croissant where you can get fresh bread and coffee in the morning and a restaurant. The town is a 10-minute walk away.
