Holiday rentals with lake access in Nile

Ahmed, his place, and his process were fantastic. Very communicative. Very accommodating given a couple snags we had traveling. Additionally the previous reviews rang true - he was super helpful with coordinating trips to Abu Simbel and Luxor. He also made the demystified the ferry when we arrived. His place was clean and accommodated 4 adults well. Thank you Ahmed for the great stay.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

Eine wunderschöne Villa mit einem noch schöneren Garten. Die Villa ist auf zwei Flügel aufgeteilt: Der Ostflügel ist sehr groß mit mehreren Zimmern, sehr stilvoll eingerichteten, antiken Möbeln und einer schönen Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den riesigen See vor der Haustüre. Der Westflügel ist ein eigenständiges kleines Haus mit einem Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer - getrennt durch einen wunderschönen antiken Raumtrenner - für bis zu 2 Personen am anderen Ende des Gartens. Der große Garten ist eine grüne & bunt blühende Oase in Mitten der Oaste Fayoums. Überall blüht und zwitschert es. Im Garten leben viele Vögel und eine Katze. Es gibt zahlreiche Schattenplätze, Lauben, Schaukeln, Sitz- und Liegeflächen am Pool und einen Grillplatz. Perfekt für einen Urlaub mit der Familie oder Freund*innen, aber auch alleine habe ich mich sehr wohlgefühlt in der Ruhe. Das Haus liegt im Künstlerdorf Tunis mit vielen schönen Töpfereien in der Nähe.

Es war einfach alles super! Die Villa ist zwar etwas älter, aber gut gepflegt, sauber und hat ihr Charme. Der Pool mit offenem Blick auf die Lagune, war einfach genial. Eine Hälfte des Pools ist geschätzt 1m tief und die andere 1,6m, was für Kinder super war. Der Pool war beheizt u d beleuchtet, so konnten wir egal wann reinspringen. Wir haben auch in der Lagune geschwommen. Hier wären Schwimmschuhe etwas besser gewesen, aber war auch kein Problem. Es gab im ganzen Haus nur einen Fleck auf einem Sofa. Die Koche ist ohne Geschirrspülmaschine, aber sonst voll ausgestattet. Viele Terrassen und Parkplatz für zwei Autos im Schatten und mehr in der Sonne direkt vor der Haustür.

Everything from the booking process to the actual stay has been absolutely fantastic. The villa itself is stunning, beautifully maintained, and offers all the amenities one could hope for. The location is perfect, providing both tranquility and convenience. Walid has been incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure our needs are met promptly. It's clear that he take great pride in ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation experience. We had an amazing holiday at this house on the lagoon! It’s the perfect spot for kids, right next to the pool and with beautiful views of the lagoon. The house is super nice, clean, and had everything we needed. Big thanks to Mahmoud for being so responsive and making sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely love to be back!

She's an amazing person, very flexible, super friendly. She's keen that everything is perfect, even after the check-in she called to make sure that we don't need anything. Love the place and it truely felt like home. She made sure that everything is clean herself and didn't just leave it for a cleaning agency. This Airbnb was an absolute gem! The design of the space was stunning. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated, creating an inviting and stylish atmosphere. We really loved it! It’s clear that a lot of care and attention went into making this space feel like a home away from home. The location was unbeatable.. Right in the heart of downtown, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and trendy cafes within walking distance, close enough to enjoy the buzz but far enough to maintain a peaceful stay. We really loved it! Next time we are in Gouna we will be back, thank you Maria.

Un super séjour chez Islam, l'appartement est oarfait, très agréable. Super vue sur le lagon , la piscine et les montagne. Islam est super réactif et arrangeant. Un petit peu difficile de trouvé des tuk tuk sans accès au téléphone mais les gardiens de l entrée nous aidaient souvent en appelant pour nous. Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons !

The place is perfect overlooking the pool and the lagoon as if it s all yours. Very calm neighbourhood in Gouna. Cozy apt. Check-in process was super smooth and easy. Apartment was very clean & neat. Most importantly, super friendly host who is caring, responsive, flexible & helpful. We are definitely coming back :)

Great location, right on the sea with a wonderful view from the balcony. Lots of space. Rooms and bathrooms were tidy and clean. The staff in the building were very helpful and nice.

I can only recommend staying here! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a wedding in Gouna, and it did not disappoint. We even liked it so much we ended up extending our stay for a few more days. HOME: Great ground-floor apartment with all the amenities you need. Particular highlight is the direct access to a beautiful, sunny lagoon. Just walk out the living room and relax on one of the loungers - there are few greater luxuries. For the rest there's everything you need - fully equipped kitchen, washing & drying, ironing board, etc. LOCATION: Fouad's apartment is located perfectly in Gouna. Lots of lovely restaurants in walking distance, as is a central tuktuk pickup point, from which you can be taken to any other spot in Gouna for next to nothing. HOST: Fouad is gracious, responsive and incredibly friendly. He made us feel right at home when we arrived, and during our stay he was always ready to answer questions when we had them. Super easy to reach! Don't think, book it!
