This wonderful 3 bed, 2 bath coastal apartment in Niton, on the South coast of the Isle of Wight is our much loved holiday home; we bought it after years of holidaying on the island and we now visit as much as we can. We love the peace, the light and the space the apartment offers; and of course the gorgeous panoramic seaviews.
“This is a super place to stay with the most captivating views! A very comfortable and relaxing place to spend a week, with interesting artwork throughout the flat. We are regular visitors to the Isle of Wight and have never stayed in Niton, but we are so glad we chose this place to stay. The Buddle Inn opposite has super food, as does the newly refurbished White Lion pub 15 minutes walk away. Joe's Bar and restaurant at the back of Niton Post Office is a gem....don't be put off by the simple look from the outside as the woodfired pizzas served in the back restaurant are delicious and the beer is great! There are also great walks from the front door. You wont be disappointed if you choose to stay here.”
Sticky Wicket is a cosy holiday chalet set among beautiful gardens in the charming village of Niton near Ventnor. The property has one bedroom with an en-suite shower room, kitchenette and lounge with sofa and tv. Situated in a row of similar south facing properties it enjoys the sun most of the day. The surrounding area is part of an AONB located near to St Catherine's lighthouse. Stickey Wicket is nestled in an area called the "under cliff". It is a real haven for walkers and cyclists alike.
“Well not much I can say apart from fantastic and would highly highly recommend the sticky mattress! Firstly the weather was unreal (not that Russell had much to do with it unless he’s magic). 24+ degrees constantly all week for the scooter rally, just perfect. The location is wonderful, so quiet and peaceful, it allowed the doors and windows to be left open at night whilst we slept without even a car driving past. The place is set back in the hills near Niton - It’s a little sun trap with beautiful garden to look onto. Even the secluded carpark was roasting in the sun! I would say that there is “Norris’s Convenient Stores” a five minute walk away for all the essentials and more which is quite a nice walk in the morning believe it or not... The accommodation itself was spotless with a clean fresh smell in the air (trust me I’ve stayed in some places that just with a wiff of fabreze and think the place is clean). A great touch was the bedding and towels, really great touch. Overall I can’t recommend enough to come and visit!!”

“We stayed at Sharon’s cottage over the Christmas period with our dog and had a fabulous time. They are situated in a fairly rural setting and high up on a hill. Sharon is very knowledgeable and supplied us with plenty of suggestions on where to walk and find the best places to eat. The cottage is just as described, lovely and warm, fully kitted out with very comfortable furniture and fittings. Great wi-fi connection and a lovely welcome pack to settle us in.”
