Welcome to our garden cabin in Nordmarka – perfect for relaxing close to nature. The cabin has a 120 x 185 cm bed and a daybed. Duvets and pillows are provided – please bring your own bedding and towels! The kitchen has a hob, a sink with a drainer, and a water tank. In the basement of the main house, you will find a bathroom with a shower, a toilet, a utility sink and a washing machine. In the garden, you will find a dining table, a fire pit and a small stream for swimming. From here, you have access to both the forest and the city: Snippen train station is 5 minutes away – 20 minutes by train to Oslo S. 🌲

There are also several other cross-country ski trails 5-10 minutes drive from the cabin. Relax among the spruce trees with sauna and cook in the wood-fired pizza oven in the garden. Perfect for city and countryside holidays. 15 minutes by car to civilization or 20 minutes by train to Oslo S from Snippen station 200 meters away. To Varingskollen Alpine Center it is 20 minutes by train the other way. Nordmarka's hiking trails and cycling routes start at the doorstep. The host lives nearby and is available. The house has 20 sqm floor area, but is effectively utilized with loft, large ceiling height and good window surfaces. The terrace is south facing and sunny.

The location of this welcoming hut is stunning and well suited for the outdoor lover who wants to relax and enjoy nature. The camp fire setup and direct access to the lake front are just perfect for peacful days. With the canoe you can go fishing or just expore the nearby waters. And in the cabin you have everything you need for a nice weekend: a well equipped kitchen, games, books, a radio (DAB+), woodstove and a guitar. Unfortunally the cabin is not easy accessable by public transport.
