Welcome to «The Old House» - a charming and cozy house located in the middle of the Fyksesund right by the Hardangerfjord. The house has an own garden with access to a great beach. You can also go out on the small Island by the beach and try to catch some fish. The location is close to the sea and provides its own calmness. It is a great starting point for walks and hiking. Simple and peaceful accommodation with a central location. The apartment is located by the lake in beautiful Norheimsund, with only a few meters walk to both public and private beach. Outside there is also a promenade along the water to the center of Norheimsund. There you will find grocery stores, cafes, restaurants and other shops. There are several hiking opportunities nearby, both mountain hikes and forest hikes. The apartment is equipped with everything you need to cook, and feels homey.

Explore Hardanger from here, going hiking, swimming in the fjord or just relaxing. In winter we recommend skiing at Kvamskogen or Sjusete close by. WIFI & Google TV available

Welcome to stay over our boathouse at the fruit garden in Steinstø. The house is located close to the lake and has a fantastic view of Hardangerfjorden, with Folgefonna on the other side of the fjord. Here you can enjoy the quiet surroundings and recharge your batteries. You have access to the porch, and a private beach just outside the apartment. There are great hiking opportunities in the area. Self-service sale of berries and fruits produced on our fruit farm is just nearby.

Cabin by the Hardangerfjord with panoramic view

Cozy cabin by the Hardangerfjord. Here is a 180-degree panoramic view that gives a very special contact with the fjord and the mountains. By the cabin wall to the east, you can enjoy a quiet morning. In the evening you relax on the terrace to the west. On windy gray weather days, you can be fascinate by the waves right outside the living room window. The cabin has a 60s interior with its own warm atmosphere and character and are suitable for a family, a couple or friends.

Apartment by the sea

Small furnished apartment, (24.4 square meters) with all you may need of plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pans, etc. The house is located right by the lake, Hardangerfjorden, and only 1.5 kilometers from Norheimsund city center. There you will find most of the groceries, cinema, beach, some restaurants, hairdresser, etc. There are many nice mountain trips nearby. It's a small apartment, so if you are more than two, it can get cramped.
