Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Macedonia

The place is located in the calm and green area, about 30 minutes from the city center on foot. It's a good place to spend there some time and rest. Marco is a really friendly person and he's always ready to help and answer any questions. Strongly recommend!

Very cozy place with a great view to the mountain, a lot of space for a group dinner and comfortable beds. The sofas are perfect for relaxing after a long hike :) The owners are very friendly and the communication is easy.

Ideal for kids. The bedrooms are a bit basic but the outdoor facilities make up for it.

The host is a great person if you are going to Skopje, it is a great place to stay. The house is clean, the tidy host has thought of everything. It is very close to the center by car, but if you want to walk, at least 40 minutes, we went to the center on foot on the first day, we regretted it for 45 minutes walking, good for those who like to walk:) Apart from that, the location of the house is very good, the house is very good, the house is great, those who want to rent a car have a gas station right at the bottom of the house and there is a private parking lot. Thank you to Ms. Marina for all of you.

Great apartment if you want proper home living in Skopje, with some peace and quiet away from the centre, whilst still being easily accessible. Ana Marija was very helpful

The house was nice and new. It deserved the price. It's not that close to the center.

The hosts were very interested. Everything was as advertised. Just get all your needs from the grocery store before you get there because there aren't many options for shopping there. There were a lot of dogs around, if you're not afraid, it's okay because they were friendly dogs.

Biljana and Jovan’s place was wonderful. Situated within an easy walk of lake Ohrid, the apartment has everything you need. The balcony has great views of the nearby mountains and the apartment is stylish. They were super friendly and helpful during our stay! We highly recommend it!

We loved our stay at Villa Serenity - the views of the lake from the property were stunning. The villa is ideally located - out of the town and with easy access to other sights on the lake. Gordon was very welcoming, with plenty of local knowledge to help us make the most of our stay.

Our stay at Cozy Villa ЯR was absolutely perfect! The property was even better than the photos—spacious, warm, and beautifully designed with large windows offering breathtaking mountain views. The fireplace was a cozy touch after a long day of skiing. The villa was ideally located, just a short drive to the ski lifts. The kitchen was fully equipped, so we enjoyed making meals and spending quality time together as a group. Fitim was an exceptional host, providing clear check-in instructions and plenty of local tips . I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for relaxing winter escape. incredible place! the house is beautiful inside and out - much better then the pictures on the site, actually. Miroslav - is a phenomenon - I've been in over 100 airbnb's in my life, and never have I encountered such a host: 1. He came to pick us from Florina in Greece, 45 minutes after we called and said that we can't enter to Macedonia with our car. 2. He drove us to the market, to hike in the mountain, to town to pick up a car He is warm, kind, carrying and interesting to talk to Airbnb - give this guy a medal !

Our two families enjoyed our stay at Villa Kupenica a lot. The host family was extremely kind and helpful in every way. The Villa is surrounded by calm farms and vineyards, so it is easy to relax in the yard, chill by the pool or have a barbecue in the evening just listening to birds and crickets. The kitchen and house itself were well equipped, the beds comfy and the wifi connection worked well enough so that we could plan some excursions. The town of Kumanovo is only 15 minutes away by car and we made trips to Skopje and lake Matka, which are also close enough. The villa had plenty of room for our bunch of 4 adults and 3 children and in spite of the very hot summer days, the house fortunately cooled down during the nights even without air-conditioning. We warmly recommend this place for you if you're visiting North-Macedonia. Please note that reaching the place for the first time can be tricky because the street names are not marked, but once you're there it's easy to get situated.

The house was very clean. The air in the area is great, the only thing missing is that there is no mosquito net in all the windows.

Beautiful house with beautiful surroundings. The hosts are great and so are the neighbors. Cool evenings in the summer make it a great getaway from Skopje in the summer. Highly recommend.

Simon was a great host! His house was fully stocked and heated when we arrived in the evening. The fireplace is great at heating the entire house, but there are also individual heaters for every room. The house is not at all far from the ski resort and even if you don't want to ski there are lots of beautiful and scenic walks in the area. I highly recommend renting out this house if you and a family or friends want to have a great place to rest while enjoying the natural beauty of Mavrovo.
