We thoroughly enjoyed coming ‘home’ after a day of activities to the house. The sauna warms you up immediately. Evenings are too short when watching your favourite show on the home cinema. The kitchen is super equipped. Everything is available. Great place for relaxing.

The weekend trip went very well, great villa and host very friendly. I can recommend it to families with children and groups of friends alike!

Beautiful and modern cottage quite close to Vuokatti and sports activities there. Soili was really helpful and friendly in her communication. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

We had an absolutely amazing week at the cabin. The surroundings were stunning and peaceful. The cabin itself was great, brand new and extremely warm and comfortable with everything you need. It was so easy to park the car and access the cabin. The sauna was fantastic and the views from every window of the beautiful forest and lake were unforgettable. Ritta was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The location is idealic. Endless incredible walking trails within easy access. Ruka and Kuusamo are close by if you need a supermarket or restaurant. We rented a snow mobile in Ruka which was great and went to Pizzeria Ruka one night which was really good. I would definitely come back, Lapland is heaven and the most beautiful place I've been. We even saw the Northern Lights on our last night, a perfect end to our holiday!

Everything went as expected :) The stay was super well-equipped and there was plenty of room for 9 people for one night. I can recommend!

Another wonderful stay at Meeri and Paula’s beautiful villa. The location is magical and the villa itself is perfect. We’ve stayed in some fantastic places through Airbnb over the years but this is really something exceptional. Paula and Meeri are great hosts and we were made to feel very much at home. We were very sad to leave and hope to return again soon!

The house was very clean and beautifully and minimally decorated. We found everything we needed in the apartment. The beds were great for sleeping. Quiet and peaceful place. Close to a thunderstorm hiking trail and it was only 4km to the slopes and ski slopes of Vuokatti. Nothing negative to say.

Annukka's house is just perfect, perfect location, beautiful surroundings, it had everything we could ever need to enjoy our stay plus more. we felt so at home and had a perfect family Christmas here. could not wish for anything more. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning new log villa on the shores of Lake Rukajärvi, and it was an experience beyond compare. This property combines the best of both modern luxury and natural beauty, offering an exceptional getaway. The serene lakeside setting provides a peaceful escape while still being close to all the action. The design of the villa is both elegant and functional. Downstairs features two spacious bedrooms, a separate toilet, a utility room, and a well-appointed bathroom with two showers and a sauna. We had a great time at Villa Jäkälä. The house has a very nice design and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Jari’s home is amazing, and Jari himself is genuinely the best host we’ve ever had. We were two families staying over NYE. 3 kids under 5 and four adults. The space was perfect for us - everyone had their own space, and there were even tons of toys that the kids could play with during our stay (which they loved!). The home is modern with everything you need, and the views over the lake are incredible. We thought we would be traveling into town a lot, but ended up loving the home so much that we spent all of our time there. Jari also went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Was super responsive with recommendations and answers to questions, and really helped us feel at home during our stay. Would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone. Thank you, Jari, for making our trip so great!

We stayed 8 people and it was perfect. The house is very nice, comfortable and had everything you need to enjoy to the fullest. The environment is spectacular: very quiet, next to the lake, ideal to disconnect. And the best… we could see auroras at night! Definitely an unforgettable experience. We would do it again without thinking!

A great base for a couple of days of skiing. There were five adults and three children, and the space was great. Everything in the apartment exudes quality, and the details are thoughtfully thought out. The kitchen is very well-stocked, plenty of dishes and didn't have to be doing the dishes all the time. A separate sauna building is a nice addition to the space with stunning scenery. We would have loved to stay longer, great listing!

Amazing place! Everything you need for a successful vacation! The villa is modern, in a quiet location and close enough to the services of Ruka. Everything is of high quality, and there are clear instructions for everything, and you don't have to think about whether the appliances are properly used. A stunning view that can be admired inside and out. It's going to make me feel thank you for renting a place like this. This place feels like a home where every detail has been considered. The best thing for children and adults was the sauna and bathe in the hot tub with stunning scenery! Thanks!

I had a wonderful stay! The hosts were super friendly and responsive—always available when needed but respectful of privacy. The location is absolutely beautiful, perfectly situated between Rovaniemi and Oulu. I’d definitely recommend having a car to explore the area. One of the absolute highlights was the sauna with its stunning view of the lake and sunset—truly priceless. The amenities were amazing and made the whole experience feel extra special. Fire place, sauna indoor and outdoor, hot tub. Everything for a spa feeling, which I really appreciated. I fully enjoyed my time here and would gladly come back!

It's been a while since we've been to such a wonderful place. Amazing, atmospheric home, full of Muminks and all the comforts. Great for families with kids and northern lights hunters. Great access by bus no. 8 to the center, close to the market, you can't be bored in the house itself - full of board games, books about toys. There is even a swing inside. The sauna and hot tub complete the whole. Your landlord is great. A total fairy tale ❤️

Our stay with the four of us totally met our expectations - we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back :) Especially great is the quiet location in beautiful countryside, the sauna and the barbecue hut next to the house :)
