Good place good location reception were great

This is a great place to stay. It's not in the city centre so you might need a car, which we had. It's quiet, comfortable and well equipped. This is our second stay and it will be the first place we will look at whenever we are visiting our family in Cairns.

Perfect for our family of four, the kids loved the pool! Beautiful home and surrounds. The hosts took the time to chat and make local recommendations. We would absolutely recommend to others. Thank you for a lovely stay, Peter and Rose.

I had a great time staying at Zoltan’s place near Alma Bay! It’s in the perfect location - just a short walk to the beach and close to the bus stop, which made exploring the island super easy. The place has everything you need to relax, including the basics for simple cooking, plus extras like snorkelling gear, stinger suits, and freshly ground coffee. Zoltan was kind and welcoming, sharing great local tips and going out of his way to make my stay easy - he kindly offered early check-in, late check-out and even gave me a lift to the ferry. It’s a fantastic option for solo travellers or anyone on a budget. I would definitely stay again!

Lovely little place with everything we needed! We especially loved the big and comfy bed. Close walking distance to shops and restaurants and the botanic gardens for a nice walk. Would recommend!

Nate was awesome. Both himself and Himali take great pride in what they have on the island. They own a few of the eateries around the island so they know what people need and want. We are used to being a bit fancier with accomodation in these getaways but we wanted to keep it reasonable as we knew we’d be out exploring the island. You can’t really beat value for money here. You’d be hard pressed to find a dorm bed in a backpackers for the price we paid for this double room with kitchen and bathroom. Nice least outlook quaint and cute!

Thank you for a lovely stay Irena. I wanted to stay close to the airport and in Edge Hill. Having the seperate Lounge, Bedroom and Kitchen under the main house was fantastic. We swam in the pool daily and enjoyed sitting around the pool surrounded by the tropical garden. They have provided a seperate gas burner to use a frypan on outside with the Webber barbecue all undercover, so you can do all your cooking outside. We just loved being there and we will stay again next time we visit Cairns. it's only a 5 min walk to all the shops and cafes. 10 min walk to the Botanical gardens and Mt Whitfield walks. I had the most amazing stay at Escape to the Forest! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Cate had thought of absolutely everything to make the experience special. From luxurious bath salts to locally sourced and homemade condiments, every detail was carefully considered. The property itself is simply stunning—peaceful, tranquil, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to unwind. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a serene escape with thoughtful touches and a truly wonderful host, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful surroundings in a peaceful and quiet area. Unit was very clean and tidy. Definitely, home away from home. Host made us feel welcome with instructions easy to follow. We really did not want to leave in the end.

It was a very well-equipped room with car park at a convenient location. It is very close to popular tourist attractions. It might be a bit difficult to get in if you got big luggages. Very happy with the stay. Very nice and responsive host.

Angela was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire booking process and stay. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend this listing to other travelers. Enjoyed the bottle of Shiraz and Easter chocolate.

Nothing was too much trouble. When we asked for things they were provided. Streaming tv and wifi was excellent. The bed was comfortable. Would stay here again. Lovely hosts.

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had! The place was incredibly clean, well-furnished, and super comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. There were so many thoughtful amenities provided from kitchen essentials to cozy linens which made our stay easy and relaxing. The surrounding area was peaceful and beautiful, and Libby was a lovely, kind, responsive host. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a restful and well-equipped getaway!

Kym is an absolutely wonderful host such a friendly and kind person who was for helpful and made us feel right at home along with her pets maxi and Lawson :) This was our second stay at Kym property and will always stay when coming to cairns. It’s a 5 star accommodation that’s spacious, clean and clutter free with a beautiful sitting area at and pool area right outside the door. Wow!!! Lynette and Tony have raised the bar in Air BnB stays I’ve stayed all over the world in over 43 different places and I have to say this tops them all, it really felt like I was in a resort The attention to detail, the snacks on the kitchen top, Fresh bread, milk, tropical juice a Nespresso machine with pods Oh and that magnesium pool crystal clear and oh so clean There wasn’t anything else that Lynette and Tony could have done to make our stay more comfortable I am definitely coming back with Marley for a holiday If I could rate them 11/10 I would

The villa is in all respects as described. It is isolated from Nick's house which provides all the necessary discretion. The spa is a plus, as well as the terrace with its barbecue, relax etc... Nick is a very considerate, very discreet and very helpful host. Thank you so much for picking us up in the evening and taking us back to the ferry. We would recommend it in a second.

This apartment was one of the best we have ever stayed in! It was clean, spacious, beautifully furnished, with amazing views from the balcony. Lola greeted us and explained everything we needed to know, we loved the personal touch. Location was great, close to some fantastic restaurants. We really enjoyed chilling on the balcony watching the tour boats and couple of cruise ships come and go. Thank you for making our stay in Cairns so pleasant and enjoyable, we didn't want to leave! We hope to return! Highly recommend.

They were incredibly generous, warm, and welcoming—so much so that I honestly consider them like family now. I didn’t want to leave! The guest suite was flawless in every way. From the thoughtful floor plan and cozy cloud-like bed to the luxurious linens, widescreen TV, and a relaxing bathtub—it felt like pure comfort. We also had access to full laundry facilities, a stunning pool, and a beautiful outdoor entertaining area that made our stay feel like a five-star resort with all the warmth of home. We were completely overwhelmed—in the best way—by how comfortable and at-home we felt. Thank you, Elisabeth and Dylan, for such an unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to come back!
