Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Perfekt for deg som ønsker et enkelt overnattingssted. • Hytten har et lite kjøkken med kjøleskap, kokeplater og vannkoker. • Dobbelseng • Kjøkkenbord med 2 stoler • Varmeovn • Vanndunker på vasken og 5 liter kaldt drikkevann i kjøleskapet. • Kompost toalett • Bord med benk utenfor der dere kan sitte ute og nyte den stille naturen.

This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. Our cozy cabin is nestled in idyllic Laukvik on northern Senja. It’s the perfect place to unwind, embrace the silence, and experience the rich wildlife. On the map, Laukvik is marked with a star as one of the best viewpoints for the midnight sun. Thanks to its ideal location and the absence of light pollution, you can often enjoy the northern lights right from the veranda. Two beautiful beaches lie just a short walk from the cabin, and everything you need for a memorable stay is right here.

The super popular Äijäkoira's unique cabin in Kilpisjärvi! Ideal for couples, the cottage has views of Kilpisjärvi. The store and restaurant are 1.5 km away. The cottage has underfloor heating. The kitchen has a coffee maker, kettle, oven/stove, range hood and refrigerator. Pre-made beds, towels and final cleaning included. Please note! The upstairs sleeping area is less than 120 cm high, so the property is NOT suitable for people with reduced mobility! Also, the stairs are not child-safe.

If you are looking for a place where you can explore the nature around Tromsø this is perfect for you. You can go directly from the house to the mountain or into the valley of Tromsdalen, this will give you easy access to see the northern lights. It is a few minuts to the bus who takes you to the senter of Tromsø (10-15 min. by bus) and you can also walk (30-40 min)

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. Hut close to the lake

Enjoying the silence and the calm? Get the feeling of living close to the wild. The hut is adjacent to a smal campingsite close to the lake and forest. The area is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing and boat trips. The hut is small, cosy and minimalistic. Just outside the door there is benches, tabels and a barbeque/campfire spot. Boat and canoe rental. Also possible to stay in tents if you are more than 2 people. Welcome!

Rakkebu, 25 km from Tromsø city

Only 23 km from the airport in Tromsø. Built in 2007. Perfect conditions for watching aurora borealis because you are well away from the lights of the city. Many aurora guids bring guests to this area. If you are very lucky you can also watch killer whales (orcas) from the beach just below the cottage. Reindeers and other animals also live in this area.
