Holiday rentals with breakfast in Oamaru

Such a gorgeous cottage set in sunny position on the property. So peaceful and a great view from the deck. Liked that it was only 5 min drive out of Oamaru in a quiet rural setting. Very comfortable beds. And kitchen well equipped with all you need. Buddy the dog is delightful and loves back scratches! Dad and I will look forward to the next time we can stay . Highly recommended 😊

Our stay here was nothing short of perfect. The location is great if you want a little more privacy and peace, but not too far that you feel cut off from the busier towns. The home was clean and inviting, the breakfast foods provided were a lovely touch and getting to see the animals was also great. Nicola was an incredible host, even offering to help us get items back that we foolishly left behind! My partner and I would highly recommend staying here and if we are ever back in this part of the world, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Not a bad word to say. Just wonderful.

Great little house for a couple - so warm and cosy on a chilly day as Jacqui had turned the heaters on for us. We loved it.

This was our favorite stay of the entire trip! The farm is absolutely lovely — we got to meet so many adorable animals, including alpacas and Highland cows (they were so cute when they chewed!). The host even took us on a walk around the farm in the morning to visit and feed them — such a special experience. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with cow and alpaca-themed touches everywhere — we loved it! Everything was so thoughtfully prepared, from the cozy interior to the fresh milk, juice, and jam waiting for us in the fridge.

Extraordinary home, with billiard table and dart. Also the bathroom fully equipped with all you need. I loved it from the beginning. The location is perfect, easy to find at the end of a road. Close to the city Center and old town, close to a park, and close to train tracks, where I now made it, after four times in NZ to see a train in action. And no, it isn’t disturbing. Cathy and Mark are incredible and delightful hosts. We could have talked with them all evening. The house is a beautiful restored gem. It feels like we stepped through a Time Machine. Book this place for the experience and quiet time in the country. The location is so peaceful yet is just 15minutes from downtown Oamaru. This is the perfect spot if you are on a cycling holiday as there are km’s of open country road. The home itself is so unique. It’s octagonal with a huge living space and each room is lovingly restored. We loved the parlour with its fireplace and games. The breakfast was phenomenal as well with farm fresh eggs and fresh bread. But by far the best thing was being greeted like a long lost friend by both of them. It made our holiday really special!

It was a pleasure to stay at Raelene Joy's tiny home. spacious and clean with panoramic views. AND, we could take our dog,Leonard.

Yiling 's apartment was a treasure. Spacious, clean, comfortable...like new. Yiling was always responsive, and even picked our luggage up from the bus station, so my 90 year old friend didn't have to drag it 1 kilometer, as we explored town before our early check-in. I would be happy to stay here on my next visit.
