We spent a week at this wonderful home inspired by Finnish architecture. Wood everywhere, indoor sauna, living room with an amazing view of the Bernese Oberland, a treat! Our neighbors were kind sheep and cows in their meadows. Located away from a peaceful village within walking distance, with walking trails nearby. Coop and Migros within 30 min drive, as well as Bern and Thun. The Gantrisch Natural Park surrounds you. Great, thanks again!

The welcome is really very warm, very spacious accommodation for 6 people, very well equipped and impeccable cleaning, 0 false notes, I would highly recommend it!

Bernard's place is amazing for a perfect homely stay... there is everything you need here and much much more, is extremely clean house,easily accommodates up to 8 adults though we were 4 adults and 3 kids.. has ample parking space.. last but not the least Bernard is a extremely nice person and great host.. he proactively enquired about our arrival time and personally greeted us with a lovely welcome surprises.. suggested us and provided information on places we wanted to visit.. very flexible with checkin and checkout times .. we can extremely recommend this place to anyone... its a stay that you will remember and cherish for long time. we will definitely be back here if we travel to places around here again. This home was absolutely stunning! The views from the large windows were magnificent, offering breathtaking scenery throughout the day. The spacious rooms and multiple eating areas were perfect for our group, providing plenty of space to relax and dine together. The recent remodeling added a fresh, modern touch, making the home feel both comfortable and luxurious. We loved the friendly cows that greeted us each morning-it was such a charming and unique experience. The drive to the house was a bit of an adventure, but totally worth it for the peaceful, secluded setting. While the Wifi was spotty at times, it actually gave us the chance to unplug and spend more quality time with family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway!

Tülin’s home was the highlight of our stay. When we saw the pictures, we knew we wanted to stay there, and it did not disappoint. Everyone in our group loved all the amenities from the sauna and ping pong table to the amazing fireplace. The guest book wall in the elevator was so clever. Tülin and her husband were so gracious to pick us up from the train station. They did an amazing job converting this once textile factory into a unique and well thought out home. They really did think of everything and provided extra amenities throughout for their guests, including additional toiletries and a first aid kit. Her recommendations for places to eat nearby were spot on. We would love to return someday!

We were 2 families with big kids. Total of 10 people. Enjoyed wonderfully! Good communication with homeowner before departure. He was also there to host us. There was a bottle of champagne, water and water with bubbles with some goodies ready for us! Everywhere wonderfully clean and well maintained! House has all the comforts, just like you were at home! Definitely recommended.

We spent a family weekend there with many adults and children. To begin with, I have to say that Eve is a wonderful host. Communication was excellent—proactive and helpful. The house and garden were very spacious, offering plenty of room. The amenities left nothing to be desired. I would be happy to stay there again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nicholas’s house. The countryside is beautiful and there are totally stunning views of the mountains from the back of the house. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, and my nephew enjoyed saying hello to the chickens. The bedrooms were generously sized and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine room was essential and very welcome for our family after muddy walks. It was great how close a few walking trails were to the lake and across the moor, and the town is walkable too, with a good selection of a few local shops and larger supermarket for groceries. Even on the rainy days, the house was a very peaceful place to spend time and the large smart tv and games cupboard was a blessing for adults and toddler alike. Special thanks to the caretakers who helped make our stay especially comfortable with thoughtful recommendations and guidance when we needed it about the house.

My family of 11 people stayed for 5 days in this beautiful villa. The pictures are representative of the very spacious rooms and facility . The villa is old but really charming with a big garden. Everything was very clean (not easy in such a big space) and the kitchen and living room are really well equipped for cooking and having dinner in a big group. The area is definitely my favorite in Basel: walk dostance to the rhein river, quite but also surrounded by many restaurants and bars in 5-10’ walk. Dan and hid team were very reactive while contacted for questions. The 2 parking in the garage are also super useful considering that in Basel is very difficult to find a parking to park in the street. Definitely recommended for big groups!!

We spent 4 peaceful and happy nights in this apartment with a family group of 12 members. I must say the pictures only tell half the story when it comes to the breathtaking views of the lakes overlooking from the garden. Jacqueline was very prompt and responsive with her precise and detailed communication and was always there when you needed to know something. The apartment was very spacious and felt very cozy and homely. There were plenty of amenities and we topped everything with a nice bbq on our final evening. There are plenty of things to explore both in and out Brienz while just a 10min walk to tge Brienz train station to get you around the place as well as the breathtaking boat trips from the promenade nearby. Highly highly recommend for any families or explorers alike and we will be definitely looking to be returning back!

We immediately felt comfortable in the villa, after the wow effect when entering. The contact with the host was also sympathetic and accommodating. Despite bad weather, you could use the pool and hot tub. The gym is superbly equipped - we were busy ^^ also a big shout out to the cleaners, everything was sparkling clean and the bedrooms were very nicely prepared.

Frank has certainly earned his super host designation! He answered questions before our stay, was very responsive and even offered us a late check out which made our departure much more relaxed. The house is wonderful, in a very peaceful setting next to the forest, but also close to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed all the amenities at the house, including a charming pool, ping-pong table, outdoor space for dining and lounging, and ability to cook and grill. Beds were comfortable and lighting great for reading. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a happy stay in the Schwarzwald!

She(Host Anna) went above and beyond as a host, showing exceptional professionalism, proactivity, and care. Her helpful nature made our stay truly special. One highlight that stood out was when she arranged milk for my kids on Easter holidays when the market was closed. The château offered us everything for an enjoyable family reunion. In the large kitchen we were able to cook together, enjoy the aperitif in the salon and dinner in the large dining room. The garden and pool are very nice. The playroom was also well received by the youngest.

We came and stayed at Madsen’s place for a week while attending Bauma in Munich. The place was fantastic! It was very clean and had plenty of room. It is a short walk away from a grocery store and several good places to eat. The train station is about a 15 to 20 minute walk based upon pace but it is in a very quiet and safe area. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we comeback to Munich. Thank you Madsen for being such an excellent host.

Very nice, well-equipped house. Very quiet with a very nice view of the Château du Haut-Kœnisbourg. Close to the A35 to reach Sélestat, Colmar and Strasbourg very quickly. Beautiful visit to Riquewhir, Ribeauville, Kaysersberg. We know the house very well, we stayed there last year at the same time.
