It was a beautiful weekend gateway inside a bus while distancing yourself from daily business and emercing yourself in nature while having lots of insight to wild animal and living in the shoes of a farmer. We really enjoyed our stay and very thankful for the lovely couple who has been very kind and supportive while teaching us lots of new things. Great place to visit.

Fantastic stay and definitely want to stay in the Treehouse next time for a couple of days. The scented sauna was a superb experience, and overall, really loved the property, views and off-grid experience away from phones and emails. 10 stars. ☺️

Paisible retraite dans le Bus Rouge, aux portes de la péninsule de Banks. L’espace est très agréable et cosy, un « nid » dans lequel je me suis tout de suite sentie chez moi. J’ai apprécié le soin apporté à la décoration mais aussi les nombreuses choses utiles et agréables telles que fourneau pour un vrai feu de bois, bouillotte, grand lit, couvertures de réserve, jeux, produits ménagers écologiques, vaisselle, huile, thé, etc. La communication avec Arielle a été très fluide. Cute cottage style stay, with a magical garden and rainforest walk. The hostess was welcoming and so was tinkers the pony!

This beautiful little hideaway is hands down the best Airbnb I have stayed in. I come here a few times a year and it feels like home. Otto and Susie are so accommodating whilst allowing for complete privacy. Their space is comfortable with every thoughtful touch you could want tucked into the coastal trees. Thanks again Susie and Otto. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was a beautiful location with perfect access to the rest of Golden Bay! Nothing felt too far and it was always lovely to return to the cozy caboose.

We loved Bertha! Had a fantastic stay, stunning spot and surrounds, so peaceful and beautiful, our little cow neighbours were the best! So nice and friendly and they even liked our dogs. Our dogs also had the best time it was excellent to be able to take them. The bus was so quirky and cute, like glamping and as expected for a vintage bus that there will still be bugs etc but was definitely kept clean and perfectly stocked for everything we needed. Would definitely stay again, thank you Maria and Ben

We had a lovely stay whilst doing part of the Alps to Ocean bike ride. Really cosy place. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. The apple cake if you opt for dinner was brilliant. The only heads up I'd give other guests is that if you're over 5' 9 you might be ducking slightly in part of the bus, and there's no electricity inside. Neither was a problem for us though.

We absolutely loved staying in the cute caravan! It was super calm and almost felt like the only neighbors were some adorable chickens. Cozy bed, nice shower and beautiful nature wherever you were looking🌿 Donna was super kind and always happy to help, if needed. Would definitely recommend if you want to escape the city for a bit 🔅

We loved our stay. Header is an incredible host and her place was more then we expected. Great 4x4 options around..

Tastefully renovated cottage with lovely wooden floors. Detail in funky crockery and glasses, everything you needed to make your own dinners, great selection of games, loved the detail of a coffee machine and beans to freshy grind. Beautiful and sunny out the front. Great back yard if you had young children to run around in.

Lovely stay! Poppy was gorgeous and in such an amazing area. The bathroom and creek were an absolute highlight! A little close to main road, we also experienced a road closure due to flooding during our stay which made it difficult to get around but only added 10/15 mins to any trips. The rain also attracted a lot of mosquitoes which were slightly difficult to keep out of Poppy. Would have loved to see some animals but understand they like to move around.

What a little slice of heaven tucked away in the hinterlands of the central coast. Such a beautiful stay - quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature, with many beaches to explore. We felt right at home instantly and did not want to leave. Thank you for having us and highly recommend :)

Too cute !!! Betty Boop as a caravan was all we needed when it was time to turn in... They say the best room in the house, is NOT in the house... well this whole accommodation is basically a top-end glamping space with a serene view like no other!!! Kookaburras morning and evening... Cheeky young magpies skulking about for a few treats... just heaven !!! We would love to return again and again and again... didnt want to leave, seriously !!!! And please give Charlie a pat for us... the friendliest border collie totally living his best life 🙏🏽🕉❤️

Karen and her husband were as perfect as hosts can be. The accommodation offers more than most others: - cereal, milk, and other basics for a breakfast - coffee machine - toys and books for children - cuddly dogs - a pool table - movies and is wonderful for those who like it individual and are okay with a toilet, shower and one bedroom located outside of the main living area. For us it was perfectly fine and everything was clean, nicely decorated with Karen's art. Her husband entertained our children amazingly and Karen even bought us some nuts with her bike. Thanks heaps for a great stay!

Had such a great stay! Al and Nadine were very accommodating and great at communicating. Would definitely recommend staying here, it was my best Airbnb experience so far :)

This is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, Airbnb accommodation I’ve stayed in. I wished we’d been able to stay longer! The housebus is so well built and laid out, with all that’s needed there for you in a very quaint, stylish and comfortable setting. My kids loved the grassy and playground area to roam and connect with their kids. I hope to make it back one day! Highly recommended!

Had a great and relaxing afternoon and night after we did the Tongariro hike. Beautiful surrounding and view, saw horses and goats on the premise. The campervan was nice for sleep and the outdoor bathtub with the view into the hills was a special experience. Thank you

Needed an affordable place, near to the city for a few days and this ticked all the boxes. Vera and Stan were lovely hosts, always willing to help and sort any issues. Short distance to the beach was a bonus.

Had a great weekend at Chris’s. Such a cute and relaxing spot. Good location as well, 10-15 min into Torquay Foreshore. Highly recommend this place.

It was very a very cool set up with a great little kitchen and bathroom as well as the retro airstream - Russell is a cute place so we had a great time

This is honestly one of the most incredible air bnb stays I have ever experienced. The photos do not do this place justice. The character and the tranquility is so beautiful. So much land to wander, watch the local wildlife and bath under the stars in the outdoor bath. So many little hidden rooms/areas to watch the world go by. So happy with our stay, one night was not enough. Back for a longer stay soon! Thank you so much

Rob and Lynda looked after every detail about the van - built by them. Each part of the van has lots of thought behind making it functional as well as cute. The van inside has everything you need for a room, including warm blankets, aircon, comfortable bed and TV with Netflix. The kitchenette had kettle, pots, tea, coffee, even milk. Lynda's handwriting notes give a special personalised touch to guests visit that we appreciated. Bathroom is in the back of their house.

We had a wonderful stay and felt like home. With the company of Neo, little garden that comes with fruits trees and herbs we appreciated, it will definitely be our next accommodation when it will just be 2 of us. Not to forget to mention that it is walkable to Freo market and that it is a nice neighbourhood we would like to explore more the next time! Thank you Clay and Belen for the hospitality and making us feel so welcoming 🙏
