The sauna after a day was very pleasant!

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

We have had a lovely stay at Gunn Marit's place. It was okay to communicate with her, got a quick response to inquiries. We'd love to come back.

Daniela is a lovely host who responds quickly. The place is stunningly beautiful! Everything is available to cook a simple meal. The view from the terrace is breathtaking.

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

We were 5 adults and 4 children who had a very nice Easter in this cabin. The positives: +Very nice and new cabin. + Large panoramic windows with lovely views of the mountains. + Short distance from the road and Haukeli ski center + Good price Things to think about: * When the sun shines on the large panoramic windows, it quickly gets very hot in the living room. negative: - The cabin is newly built so the outdoor area is still characterized by having been a construction site especially since the snow had melted around the cabin.

Great place, we use it to spend the night but would have loved to stay way longer, it’s a great place to have some family time and Knut is always kind to answer. Definitely would go back

Nice cottage in a good location. Here you pay for the location even if the view is missing. The cabin has a large nice living room, please note that the landlord has rabbits so not hypoallergenic as the rabbit cage is in the living room. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need. Typical private cabin that is rented out with as clean as you would expect to visit good friends. The beds were ok, is a typical winter cottage where curtains are not light.

We stayed at the cabin for a few days with our two huskies during my work trip recently and we had absolutely the loveliest time! The cabin is incredibly cozy, clean and inviting, pictures do not do it justice honestly. I was definitely impressed by its coziness and overall feeling of the interior. The cabin is situated on a mountain but conveniently close to the main road where we parked our car, yet you can't hear any noises from the road once you're in the cabin. The nature around is very very peaceful. Communication with Geir was easy and effortless, he answered all of our questions super fast and we felt taken care of. We will definitely want to come back again!

Great stay at Rauland, a little bit colder than the rest of south Norway, but central towards many interesting spots around. Good communicating and friendly host.

Great cabin perfect for a large group - we enjoyed the outdoor sauna, cooked a lot in the kitchen which was well equipped. Perfect location for hiking / skiing. Highly recommend.

Quite good space even for a large group. Cabin is well-equipped with board games and something for everyone to enjoy. And it was an absolutely enjoyable experience to have jaccuzzi there :) Well worth! highly reccommended.

Great cabin and area! We were there with family of 5 for three days and everyone had plenty of space and enjoyed themselves! Hot tub with good temperature even in cold weather. The host was helpful and replied quickly. Would recommend!

cozy cabin with everything you need, good communication and great location. The cabin was clean, well equipped and we felt welcome. We had a great winter holiday even though the weather wasn't great. We enjoyed fireplace, games and drawing. Was great for the 5 year old and 7 year old. We would gladly came back more times 😊

This was our second stay here as the cabin suites the needs of our group so well. Located right on the red run near the lift. Ronny was always helpful and responsive to any queries we had.

It was a nice stay in the nice new cabin for Gina and his family. It was spacious, well equipped and beautifully located at the top of a cabin area with a good view. Close to Voss hiking and skiing center. Unfortunately, there was little snow there this year, but we took a trip at Voss bowling/leikeland and otherwise had a great time in/around the cabin.

Nice cabin and very helpful host!

Very nice and quite place! In the time that I was there (April), I didn’t see a single person. The place is small and cosy, but it has everything you need. The bed upstairs is a little climb to get into, but if you don’t want that, you can sleep downstairs as well. Private parking. Very clean. I love it!

Lovely location and cabin!

Fantastic Mountain Cabin with Great Amenities! We stayed at this beautiful cabin in Voss and it was an incredible experience! Spotless, well-equipped, and with stunning views. The direct access to the slopes via a green run made skiing easy, even for beginners. The cozy fireplace and the jacuzzi (extra cost) were perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The cabin has high-quality appliances—full-size dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine—and plenty of dishes, glasses, and cutlery. The only small inconvenience was the lack of wardrobes, so we had to keep our clothes in bags. The cabin is in the mountains, so a car is essential, although taxis can access it too. Ingrid was a fantastic host—super responsive and helpful. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we highly recommend it for a comfortable and adventurous getaway in Voss!

The photos are consistent with the listing. So that's a very cozy and beautiful house. Upon arrival, the beds were already made. It was clean and ready to use everything. The location really is stunning. You overlook the valley and towards the mountains. In addition, the ski resort is within walking distance (within 2 minutes you are at the elevator). Voss prison is also close +/-10min by car. All in all, we had a fantastic holiday here and would recommend everyone to use this accommodation.
