We aim to provide accommodation where travellers visiting Japan from abroad can stay with peace of mind. It is a private rental accommodation that has been designed as a space where you can relax while retaining the warmth of traditional wood. We renovated this old house on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea ourselves over a period of two years, and it is run by us as a couple. The facilities are simple, and there are no services like in a hotel or ryokan, but it is popular with those who want to relax in a natural setting. It can accommodate up to 6 guests and is recommended for groups and families. It is about 18 minutes on foot from Uno Station and 12 minutes on foot from the ferry terminal, making it an ideal base for trips to Naoshima and the Setouchi Art Triennale. It is a 10-minute walk to the Merca shopping mall and a 2-minute walk to the FamilyMart Tamano Uno store. There is a contracted parking space for one car a 2-minute walk from the foot of the mountain. Our accommodation is located on a hill about 60 m above the foot of the mountain, accessible only on foot. You will need to climb a slightly steep path, but you will have a refreshing sense of accomplishment when you arrive, and you can spend a quiet time surrounded by nature.

This house is built on the quiet seaside in Shodoshima Town. The house was built just for dusk watching the sea and the sunset.Therefore, I apologize for the large number of stairs on the terrace, but I can never call it barrier-free.(I will do my best to help with my luggage, etc.) However, at the end of the high terrace, there is a glittering, calm and beautiful sea in Setouchi, and a kane-colored sunset that changes faces every day. Forget your time and enjoy the extraordinary. *We are currently not accepting pets for accommodation. If you would like to do so, please contact us before making a booking. The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs.
