This house is located on the quiet seaside of Shodoshima Town. It is a house built just to watch the sunset over the sea. Unfortunately, we have a lot of stairs on the terrace, so it's not barrier free. (I will do my best to help with your luggage, etc.) However, at the top of the high terrace, the calm and beautiful sea of Setouchi, sparkling with sunlight, and the changing faces of the crimson sunset await you every day. Please enjoy an extraordinary time and forget about the time. You enter the room by climbing the terrace stairs. It is not barrier free. Please be sure to have an adult accompany you when going up and down stairs with small children. Also, there are many stairs on rainy days, so it may be inconvenient. Also, the road in front of the inn is not paved. Please note that this may cause some inconvenience. There are many insects because there is a lot of nature around the house. Insects may enter when windows or doors are opened or closed. (Especially at night, insects are attracted to the lights in the house) I'm very sorry, but if you don't like insects, please refrain from staying. There is currently construction going on next door, and it may be noisy.

This guest house was born in 2019 and is an 8-minute walk from JR Okayama Station. It is a four-story building, with the entrance on the second floor after climbing the exterior stairs, and the interior is connected to the rooftop by an internal staircase. The exterior is Western-style, but there is also a Japanese-style room with a tea room. We'd like to connect people and help introduce the area. We can make various suggestions for trips to the scenic Setouchi islands. We'll help you with deep sightseeing in Setouchi. Also, within walking distance to many museums and one of Japan's three most famous gardens, "Korakuen". Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter is 20 minutes by train, and you can take the Shinkansen for day trips to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe, and Hiroshima. An old house built 150 years ago by the owner "JP" who loves DIY and dreaming of an ideal life.You can enjoy the fireplace unique to the old house and the world's one-of-a-kind egg sauna. In particular, I recommended this egg sauna, which was carefully created in the shape where the heat circulates naturally.All of this is handmade (DIY)!Feel the heat of the wood stove in the sauna and the creative heat of JP. You can also enjoy pot and fish skewers in the fireplace that was revived with DIY.All ingredients will be brought in, so please buy them at a nearby supermarket before coming. The place is an area called "Koya", a mountain alley in Misaku City, Okayama Prefecture.I think it would be interesting to stop by Nishisaokura Village, which is popular with the rural resident village, which is just around the corner.

The house is a beautiful nature. And also we have good neighbors. You will see the real Japanese countryside that is not written in the guidebook. The room is surrounded by my father's and my artworks. The huge kitchen, living room, and garden are yours. Please enjoy and relax in the cozy house.
