Holiday rentals in Ölsdalen

We voelden ons gelijk thuis in het heerlijke huis van Linnea en Ted. Het is heel sfeervol ingericht. Met de bus voor de deur ben je zo in de stad. Het meer is dichtbij. Voor de kunstliefhebbers: bezoek zeker Sandgrund van schilder Lars Lerin in Karlstad.

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!

Wir reisten gemeinsam mit Freunden ( 4Erw. und 4 Kinder) und haben uns ab dem ersten Moment wohl gefühlt. Es gab viel Platz und genug Schlafmöglichkeiten. Es ist mir sehr viel liebe & wärme gestaltet worden und auch bei der Einrichtung fehlte es an nichts. Die ruhige Naturnahe Umgebung hat uns sehr gut gefallen und aus der Ausblick waren ein Traum. Wir hatten unseren erwünschten Schneetraum, wollen aber unbedingt nochmal zu einer anderen Jahreszeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Very clean and cozy house next to the lake. There is a sauna (50€/day) and a rowing boat was available to explore the lake. Margareta and Kalle were lovely hosts and always helpful. Margareta even took us to Örebro on our last day.

Vi var rigtig glade for kommunikationen med værterne, for huset, for faciliteterne, for Tived nationalpark, for instruktionsbogen i huset og for hele opholdet. Det kan nemt være, vi kommer igen. Vi havde lidt problemer med vores bil, og nogle naboer var også meget hjælpsomme. Det var bare rigtig godt det hele.

Super trevlig lägenhet och området är lugnt. Det är lätt att åka till staden dock måste man ha bil. De välkomnade katter vilket var bra. Vår katt (och vi) tyckte mycket om att kolla på den fina naturen runt om lägenheten.

Fantastiskt boende med ett utmärkt läge!

Wir haben uns ab dem ersten Moment im Zuhause von Lina und ihrer Familie wohlgefühlt - unter anderem aufgrund ihrer Katze, die wir während unseres Besuchs versorgen durften. Das Haus war sauber, komfortabel, geräumig und gemütlich mit einer super tollen Aussicht auf den See. Als Highlight kann man noch die tolle, holzgeheizte Sauna erwähnen, die ebenfalls einen tollen Blick auf den See zulässt. Alles in allem hatten wir einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, die Kommunikation mit Lina war äußerst freundlich und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
