We were received super warmly and felt at home immediately. Manuela helped us with all questions. Excursions organized for us and had contact through which we could rent a scooter for good price. The place is very clean. It is cleaned every day. I can highly recommend it :)

We expected and enjoyed this rustic wood cabin. The breezes when windows and doors open were refreshing. The information booklet is a must read, it really helps orient you to the surroundings. We really enjoyed the Permaculture tour with Megan, it gave us such a better understanding of this environment. Highly recommended!

Federico and Birte were great hosts, gave a lot of tips and were very respondiste and helpful for not only the check in but also for transportation and recommendations of the area. The house is in a very peaceful area close to the lake and in the middle of the forest, with amazing views of the volcano. We had a great stay there!

Little privat gem if you are looking for a budget accomkdation. Close to the main road so easy to catch a cab or walk anywhere, very clean and amazing communication with the host. It does get a little hot during the day so be aware of that and the water in the shower is refreshing but not cold.

What a beautiful apartment, really equipped with everything! In addition, it is really very clean and smells super nice when you enter☺️. The apartment has a wonderful view on the lake. In terms of location, it is close to everything, also convenient that there is a shop with an ATM directly below. Nicol gave recommendations and always responded quickly and kindly. Everything was taken care of immediately. We would highly recommend this place!🥰

An incredibly well-curated experience for enthusiasts of cloud forest nature, volcano views, and phenomenal food. The hosts and all staff were always kind, courteous, and helpful. The property is magical, extending from the road up to Finca Magdalena's rainforest reserve: you can hike up to Volcano Maderas starting right at Selvista's restaurant, Zapote. We appreciated the help with ATV rentals and loved the vegetarian option of Zapotes's set price menu to round off our last evening. Would stay there again 💯

I've been traveling in Nicaragua and Costa Rica for more than 2 months. I didn't have a place that was as clean and well equipped as this one. Jeydin and her family are so wonderful, so helpful and warm. I felt comfortable at every moment and would highly recommend this place to anyone with so many loving and practical touches. It is also great with children, because the entire property is fenced. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will definitely be back!

Fernando and the entire team were very kind, helpful, and responsive. The setting is perfect with beautiful sunsets every night. The room was ideal for me and it was great to have a kitchen, cold drinks, lots of options for sitting on the water, and kayaks available. I also enjoyed that local people came here to relax. I am so glad I used Caballitos Mar as the base for my Ometepe visit!

My partner and I stayed Adyana’s place for 2 nights and it was amazing! Highly recommended! With local recommendations, we enjoyed the island a lot. Fran and Katherine were on site, who took care of us. We did camp fire at night, ordered tasty breakfast, and so on. The location is very convenient, in between two ports from San Jorge. We took a scooter to get around. Thank you very much for having us :)
