“A perfect cabin with everything you need. Cozy, clean and tidy and with lovely water and mountain views. Many opportunities for skiing right outside the cottage with subsequent fireplace inside. We didn't meet the host this time, but we felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended.”
Small and charming cottage on Oppdal at the entrance to beautiful Gjevilvassdalen and Trollheimen. Close to water, hiking terrain and hiking / ski trails.
“Such a nice and cozy accommodation. It was clean and fitted with lot's of equipment - everything you need! We feel really comfortable. Thanks again for everything! It is perfect for holiday or if you have few days off. We had a really great time in Oppdal. And we would come back anytime! :)”
Drivstua lies in the Oppdal municipality, in the beautiful Dovrefjell area, between four nature reserves, along the Driva river and the E6. My guests come here to enjoy the ample nature resources or to have a convenient and tranquil stay along the E6. They have a complete apartment for their own use, with separate entrance, ca 50 sq.m. Since the house is listed, the standard is old fashioned. Built in 1921, the house still has many of its original features.
“Louise's place is in an old historic house and it is certainly full of character. It is in the mountains, in a lovely valley quite apart from other houses. Nearby there is a historic train station. The apartment is spacious and clean and it has thoughtful touches. Louise is very hospitable and she left food in the fridge for breakfast. It is a good base to visit Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park.”
