Holiday rentals with a fireplace in New Orleans

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay to get the NOLA experience. So many original and historic aspects of the home, accompanied by remodeled and updated features where they are important. We were within walking distance to just about everything. Plus the host was great- super responsive. We had a fabulous time.

The place was great and it was so nice to have different balconies from which to enjoy the perfect weather. Adam was very responsive and understanding re: my dad's struggles to check in/get in touch at the beginning of our stay (my fault! I forgot to send him the check-in information!). Parking was easy, and lots of tasty stuff within walking distance.

Beautiful home! Extremely clean and rooms were very roomy. It says 3 bedrooms but it’s actually 4 bedrooms and every room is very spacious. Loved the house!

Perfect stay just outside of the French Quarter. Just a few minutes into the FQ or Frenchman St, but perfectly quiet at night. The property was totally secure, and the backyard was completely private, which was very peaceful after spending the day in town! Beds were clean and extremely comfortable, and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was an added luxury to relax after walking all day as well. Definitely our favorite stay in our 10+ trips to NOLA.

We had an amazing time staying in the Irish Channel area. Walkable to so many great restaurants and shops. Easy to find parking in this neighborhood if you’re traveling by car. Matthew and Sarah’s place was the perfect place for us. Very comfortable and I greatly appreciated the coffee! A big fridge in case you bring back beer from many of the local breweries. The place was very clean and we felt right at home. We received great tips on places to eat, things to see, music venues, etc from our hosts prior to our arrival. We appreciated that! Thanks again!

Daphne was so responsive to our inquiries. She offered great suggestions and was so friendly and kind. I highly recommend this rental. Great location in a vibrant area of the French Quarter.

The place was perfect for my husband and I on a short visit to NOLA. It was just a 10-15 min drive to many of the sites we wanted to see: French Market, Audubon Park, Riverwalk. I appreciated the iron, ironing board, food containers, and small cooler that were available. Special touches were the vase of fresh flowers and greens from the garden and the ok to pick delicious blueberries from the tree in the yard. We would recommend it to other visitors.

My family stayed at Augusto's place while we were in town visiting family. It was exactly how it looked in the pictures, and it served as a great home base for us. We had plenty of room, and more than enough beds for everyone. Everyone's bed was comfortable. Everything was incredibly clean. The back patio and the living room were very comfortable for hanging out. I was hoping we would get to use the pool, or maybe barbecue, but the weather turned cold and stormy, so we missed out on that. Maybe we'll get to do that next time we come into town.

We loved this gem! Perfectly positioned in a neighborhood with bakeries, bookstores, bars available to wander to yet quiet and calm. The bikes were an essential part of our New Orleans excursions (and thanks for the helmets!). Lucia and Folwell were so responsive to our needs. What a treat

Erich’s place is located on a quiet street. I rate it as walkable, that being said, I have no problem walking a mile. 15-20 minute walk gets you to the French Quarter. Also we drive in from Houston and there was plenty of on street parking directly in front of the home. For us this was perfect, nice and quiet at night. So, we were able to get a good night’s sleep. This seems to be a wonderfully restored New Orleans home. One bedroom downstairs with a very nice full bath the other bedroom is up a slightly narrow tall staircase, with another very nice full bath. The home was spotless. I wish there was a king bed in one of the bedrooms but, otherwise I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a comfortable, safe, and secure place for a girls trip. It was walkable from many major landmarks and things to do. It was great value for 4 queen beds and 2 full bathrooms. The area at night is a bit sketchy but that’s not on the host. And an uber ride from downtown to the Airbnb was cheap and quick. Overall, would stay here again.

The property was clean, well-maintained, and accurately depicted in the photos. Upon arrival, we encountered a minor issue with the alarm system, but the host quickly provided the code, allowing us to disarm it. Due to a scheduling change at my daughter’s college, we arrived slightly earlier than expected, but the host required an additional $75 for early check-in, despite the property being ready. The layout was convenient, with two floors: the master bed was very firm, the downstairs bed was very soft, and the four beds upstairs were of standard firmness—helpful information for those with back concerns. The location was excellent, just off the 10, with easy access to local attractions and quiet surroundings. Parking was ample and off-street. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would book again. Lovely location in a scenic area right by the St. Charles streetcar. Very walkable to nearby restaurants, shops, etc., while getting to see all the Garden District mansions. Sweet balcony with an oak tree right in front. Would highly recommend. Great way to spend our q year wedding anniversary.

Charming place with easy access. Parking was not a problem. It was a perfect place for my family to stay while we attended a weekend wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to reserve again.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying at Ian's place when we were in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. We loved how easy it was to walk to Canal Street for the big Endymion parade on the Saturday of Mardi Gras weekend. We were also easy walking distance (about 1 block) from a yummy restaurant where we had a nice breakfast. There is a grocery store incredibly close as well, which came in handy to stock the fully-equipped kitchen so that we didn't have to eat out for every meal. Ian gave us a lot of great information in advance so we better understood the parade situation and how to best enjoy it. He also furnished the rental with folding chairs for our use during the parade, and sunscreen, too! The house itself was very nice and spacious. We actually hung out there more than we expected to. It was nice to have a comfortable place away from the chaos of the French Quarter area, and we even did some laundry with the full washer and dryer provided.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s place. It was clean and cozy, and Michelle went out of their way to correct a booking issue that I made. The apartment is conveniently located and very spacious. Highly recommend!

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Marcus was very helpful and communicative. I was able to check in way early for a small fee. The house was clean, comfortable and an excellent value. Within reasonable walking distance of the French quarter. As mentioned in previous comments, the neighborhood roosters can be a bit noisy, so worth bringing a pair of earplugs if you’re a light a sleeper.

Just wanted to share our fantastic experience at the ARBB we stayed at. We absolutely loved the pool and the charming units. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Wilson, who went out of his way to take care of us during our stay. Check-in and checkout were smooth and hassle-free. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance to just about anything. Thanks for making our stay memorable!

Michael was a very responsive host. He answered every question. Maintenance was frequently on property. Other guest in compound were friendly. Courtyard was so relaxing and beautiful. One Uber driver complimented the neighborhood as hugely improved, safe and popular. Thanks for a lovely stay in NOLA.

My friends and I had a fantastic time and were comfortable at The Chateau. Prior to our arrival, Michael was very responsive to questions. At the time of arrival, Wilson was extremely helpful and friendly. Other folks working at The Chateau were lovely and warm. It's a great location, allowing us to walk to almost every destination we hoped to visit. The outdoor space was so comfortable, and other guests were respectful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will definitely consider The Chateau for future visits to New Orleans!

Had a fabulous family Christmas vacation at this Airbnb! Wilson was the on site property manager/concierge and he was accessible, responsive, friendly and communicated wonderfully to any concerns we had. Bathrooms and kitchen were well done. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable with good bedding. Fun to stay in a famous chef’s previous home. Courtyard was wonderful - we spent a lot of time out there. Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub was unavailable from our first day through our second to last day. That was a top amenity priority for me in choosing this property. Wilson, was diligent in getting it fixed and communicating about the status, however. I would certainly return here for future visits to New Orleans!

This was such a cute space within walking distance to the French quarter and Frenchmen street. The outdoor area was huge and had space to relax and hang with friends. Staff were kind and helpful. The pool was amazing after long days in the sun. Highly recommend!
