It has two exterior bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and a spacious living room with a fireplace and a conservatory overlooking the river on the upper floor. A kitchen with a dining area and a WC, with access to the patio and the porch, on the ground floor. A great deal of attention has been paid to lighting and comfort. Construction with design, in corten steel, which is born within a ruin in stone and that is part of the development Leiras do Tempo Cottages. It is located at 800 meters of altitude, on a slope of the valley river Man, in the yellow mountain range. Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. Welcome to Fogar das Buxainas, a place connected with nature, tradition and the tranquility of a Galician village. Fogar das Buxainas is a family project that was born in 2025 and gives name and life to a story told by my grandmother. Fogar das Buxainas means Home of the Spinning Top, because the owner of the house used to make spinning tops for the children of the village of Arcos. Thanks to this man's generosity, they could play and have fun in those difficult times.
