Here you can enjoy the lake with the boat located in the jetty, 5 min walk from the house. 45 min drive to Bergen. In the surrounding area you can take mountain trips, visit the beautiful beach as well as sand volleyball and tennis court at Hjellvik, 2 km away. A 14-foot plastic boat from 2021 with a new 6 hp located in the jetty 400 m from the house is included in the rent. There are also 2 bicycles in the basement. Osterøy is a great starting point for nice mountain trips. Tirevollfjellet at 303 meters above sea level, is 1 hour walk from the door.

Cozy cottage

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Mountains right behind the house with several hiking opportunities, and lake below. In summer, a SUP board can be borrowed by appointment. The hosts live in the farmhouse (the largest house) in the yard. In the yard there are also 3 cats, 5 rabbits, and currently 2 ponies. Otherwise, many mountain hikes and hiking opportunities on Osterøy, e.g. Bruviknipa, Kossdalssvingane +++ Distance to Bergen: 32 km, about 35 min by car. You can take the train from Arna to Bergen, it takes about 20 minutes.

Apartment in pristine nature

In this place you can find peace for both body and soul. The apartment is located in a peaceful spot on Osterøy, without noise and engine noise. From the apartment you have lake views of the beautiful Osterfjorden, and can enjoy the sunset from a cozy garden just outside the entrance. Parts of the apartment are brand new (June 25) and appear both practical and homey. There is a short walking distance to mountain trips, beach and sports facilities. Possibilities to rent extra cottage with room for 2-3 children. Fresh eggs in the chicken coop.

A place where you can find peace and enjoy your days without worries, here you can sunbathe, grill and relax in peace and quiet, the place is sheltered and without view. If it rains, you can still sit dry under the roof and at the same time be outdoors. This is a small simple cabin with great outdoor possibilities. The cabin is surrounded by water and a river that goes down to the sea. There is also a convenience store and a hotel as well as a small gas station. You can use a boat down the river to shop, or walk 5min.

Hotel bed comfort in the middle of nature - Birdbox Bergen

Welcome to Birdbox Bergen, which is located in rural Bergen. Here you are at one with nature, while enjoying comfort. Here you can enjoy sunrise all year round from the bed. The sunset is spectacular in winter, while in the long, bright summer evenings you can enjoy a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere in and outside the Birdbox. Bergen Birdbox is located on the pasture of Øvre Haukås Gård, where sheep graze all year round. In spring you can be lucky and experience panoramic views of the lambing.

Byrkjetunet Gard is a farm in quiet and peaceful surroundings on Osterøy. Here you can stay in the farm's apartment, where you have your own entrance and terrace. The apartment has a bedroom, open kitchen solution, sofa corner and private bathroom. There is also a sofa bed so that more people can travel. Here you live surrounded by idyllic westland nature on all sides. It is a short distance to the lake for fishing, swimming and great mountain walks. Animals are of course welcome with us 🌻

Sofiahuset has been in our family since 1908. It is now renovated and has all the comfort of a modern home as well as charm from the past. Conveniently close to the E16 road between Voss and Bergen. Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

Sunny cabin by the lake - only 1 hour from Bergen Here you can enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lake, take a dip on hot summer days (or a bath in the jacuzzi) Rowboat at your disposal from the 2026 season from April to October. Outboard motor available at additional cost. (use of motor, boat license if you were born after 1980) Fine hiking areas in the high mountains or in the lowlands. May be available for private guided tours in the nearby mountains.

Big farmhouse, childrens favorite with playroom

The farm is located on Osterøya, a beautiful island surrounded by fjords. 35 minutes from Bergen city. Little valley with small farms, nice landscape with fields, hills and high mountains. Lot of small roads for walking and easy access to the mountains. You can enjoy the big garden with trampoline, and treehouse-cottage and bicycles/tractors for the children. You can find fresh eggs in the morning and see new-born lambs in the fields in the spring.

Cozy appartment in Ytre Arna,Bergen

The apartment is located in Ytre Arna with a nice view over the fjord. It is located 20mins by car from the center of Bergen. The busstop is 3 minutes away and you can get to the City in 30 to 40min by bus. We can help you plan your transport from the airport. There is a big garden and a park close to the appartment. We also have a private parking place for you. There are nice hiking possibilities here and on the way to the fjords/Hardanger.

Charming and comfortable place to overnight or stay. 1 bedroom for 3 person and coach for 2 person in living room. There are beautiful nature around here, fjord and mountain view, beach with little boat, sauna and grill on the terrace. 35 minutes to Bergen and lot of hiking possibilities near by. We love pets and we have 2 little dogs.
