Our place is close to Ravenstonedale village (3 miles), which has 3 decent pubs serving tasty food and beer. The beautiful Howgill Fells are literally at the door, where you can ramble for miles in a beautiful landscape. It is a dark sky place - with 0% pollution, the stars are spectacular!! You’ll love it because of the comfy beds, the cosiness, and the views. It's great for families or large groups to get together and enjoy the outdoors, or to relax in front of the cosy log-burning stove.

The Barn is 18th Century and recently converted. It has 1 bedroom with a Super king zip and link bed which can also be made up as a twin if requested. The space is beautifully furnished and equipped with an electric Aga, washing machine, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Excellent Starlink WIFI for remote working. The detached Lake House is set in 11 acres. Ravensworth is an enchanting village with many of the houses dating from the 17th century. The village is defined by its green, and ancient ruined castle, only a few miles from the pretty towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle . A village pub and two wonderful farm shop cafes within walking distance. The Lake House has uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding woodland. The Lake House can also be booked together with Willow Cottage.
