Holiday rentals in Ovanåker

This is the second time we stayed in Monika's and Erik's cabin. The cabin is super nice. Well equipped with quality appliances and all is working well. It is also very clean. The fire place and the sauna are great on colder days, the large veranda on sunny days. The area is super calm and peaceful. We preferred staying close and enjoyed the nearby nature. But there is also a lot to do within short driving distance. All in all, we enjoyed our second stay and are looking forward to the third.

Kenneth is a great host and the house is amazing. It is fresh, peaceful, clean and comes with a fully equipped kitchen. The house is big enough for 3 families and at a perfect distance from Stockholm to explore in and around Dalarna. I appreciate Kenneth’s consideration to ignore one of the toys that was a little damaged by a kid. Will come again!

A beautifully located cottage with everything necessary to enjoy and feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment to cook.

We had a wonderful weekend in the little house, it was exactly what we needed - a calm and cozy place to get away from the city! We felt right at home and even got some eggs from Peggy's chicken and some treats for our dog - that was so lovely! The small terrace is perfect for having breakfast, and the house has everything you need. We had a wonderful time, thanks so much!

Host was very professional

We had a very nice weekend in this amazingly nice and homely house. Large living areas for socializing and a large room for the children to sleep together in. Close to nature outside the house and also to the ski slopes in Romme. A real pearl! Easy communication with the host Pontus during our stay.

Perfect weekend getaway! We spent a weekend in this cozy cabin and couldn't be happier! It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed to hang out and cook together, even basic range of spices and oils, which made the stay extra comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of equipment, and there was plenty of room for us to relax. In addition to the weather this weekend, our dog also enjoyed it! The location was amazing – quiet and close to nature, perfect for getting away from the hustle of everyday life. Anna was also helpful and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this cabin and are looking forward to coming back!

Nice cottage, well equipped kitchen, great host. Not as close to the lake as I thought of the pictures, nor so secluded and private - the cottage is between the garage and large residential block, so I closed down all the curtains to make me feel left alone. Fresh and clean, very lovely place! The host only speaks English can be good to know.
