Holiday rentals in Övergården

The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. Super cozy cabin with lovely views of Värnen. The cottage was well equipped with everything that you could possibly need. We felt welcome with made beds when we arrived. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with sustained rain when we were there but it didn't matter as there were Party games that we could enjoy. Surroundings outside offered cozy walks with our dog. We can warmly recommend this cabin in both wet and dry weather! You won't be disappointed!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

What a location!! Perfect hideaway for the most relaxing time, away from everyone and everything. We absolutely loved our stay. The panoramic sauna & enormous jacuzzi were a dream. We love cooking & the kitchen had everything we needed, wíth the most amazing views on the lake. As a music lover it was very nice to find high quality Sonos speakers throughout the house. Daniel answered every question we had immediately. And his father welcomed us very kindly. Great place to stay!

We are super happy with the place. We stayed for two nights when our son played Luxcup in the arena which was walking distance from the property. Clean and tidy with everything we needed. Easy to find and to check in. Great information from the host and nice treatment. Thank you so much!

Well planned and very cozy cabin near the lake. The garden had plenty of room for activities for the kids. Henrik was very easily accessible when we had questions about directions and other things. We were there over a weekend but would have loved to stay longer!

Cozy and good accommodation in the middle of town. Everything you need is in the listing that corresponds to the description on the listing. Extra positive with flexible check-in and quick responses from host. Recommend more to stay here visiting Kristinehamn.

Absolutely amazing!! The house is gorgeous and appointed with outstanding furniture and amenities. The setting on the hillside is truly amazing. We loved it!! I want to come back again.

We had a fantastic weekend in Humletorp. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we wanted. The accommodation was clean and fresh, Grace was a communicative, helpful and professional host, who had also fixed a nice welcome basket upon arrival. Can recommend the place to anyone!
