In spring, summer and autumn there is a road all the way up to the cabin. The cabin is located in a pleasant mountain pasture with great hiking trails right nearby and with a short distance to Hafjell (2 km to drive to Gaiastova which is the nearest starting point for alpine skiing). In winter, you have to walk about 250 meters on skis or snowshoes from a free parking space.
