We’ve just had a wonderful stay at the shepherds hut in Slindon. The hut was amazing, absolutely pristine and comfortable, could have stayed longer! The peaceful location was just what we needed. Thank you Madeleine, we will come and stay again. Will recommend it to family and friends. Or maybe keep this one to ourselves! Many thanks.

The perfect secluded getaway! We had the best stay at Shorthorn, it had all the amenities you could need for a weekend trip.

Parking was a few minutes from the hut (with a trolley supplied to transport your belongings).

Organic fresh milk, butter and jam were supplied from the farm I suspect. Additionally croissants, cereal and some biscuits.

We arrived and the place was toasty warm! The heat is super isolated and not once were we cold.

There is a neighbouring hut but we had more than enough privacy. It’s brilliant if you want to visit as 2 couples.

A short drive to Arundel, which is beautiful and filled with independent shops, cafes and pubs.

You can tell all the love and care that has gone into building the cabins. We loved our stay and will certainly be returning. Thank you Madeleine, a fantastic host!
