“...What an amazing stay! Medley Meadows is just like the description and photos! The Safari Lodge itself is very comfortable and clean, everything you need is inside even down to board games. We had a group of 4 adults and we used the main bedroom and the bunk beds, these beds were plenty big enough, there is a sofa bed too! I would suggest bringing an extra blanket for the colder months and a hat for when you sit outside round the fire. The surrounds were amazing, in the middle of nature! There isn’t much signal but when you’re somewhere like that it doesn’t matter. There are plenty of walks near by and places to explore. We had a fire both inside the tent and outside every night. There is extra wood on site you can purchase which was very handy! Louise was a fantastic host, really helpful when we asked her questions and in the welcome back there were a lot of recommended things to do! I would 100% recommend Medley Meadows, I haven’t stopped telling everyone about my stay!”

“...I stayed at Medley Meadow with my grownup son Phil. We had a wonderful weekend. The tent was very home-like. It's more like a little bungalow made of canvas – very comfortable with 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, very nice bathroom, dining table, sofa, and stove. Lots of thoughtful little touches made it very special. You probably need to take your own torches or a camping lantern – the lighting in the tent is a little dim. On our first afternoon we followed the host's suggestion and walked across the fields to the Foxhunter at Nant-y-Derry (who serve an excellent pint). This was good fun, but be warned, the footpaths are very nettly and brambly – wear your jeans and long-sleeved shirt, and take a map!”
