We are the Icelandic Forestry Association, an Icelandic NGO founded in 1930 to promote forestry and reforestation. Most of all, we represent the 62 community-based forestry associations you can find across the country, a vast network of roughly 7500 dedicated people who have been planting trees for almost a century in order to better the land and reclaim the lost forests of Iceland.
