Villa Äkäsjoensuu

Atmospheric log cabin on the shore of Äkäsjoki. From the windows of the cottage, you can follow the flowing river, which is less than 20 meters away. You can go swimming after the sauna without worrying about the neighbors. This cottage accommodates 7 people at its best, but works best with less than six people. Downstairs you will find a hallway, a kitchen with a great fireplace, a sauna, a shower room, a toilet and a bedroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with views of nature.

Welcome to stay in a peaceful river view in a small cottage village along the fairway salmon road. Kolari city center is 12 km away. The nearest shop can be found 10 km from the Swedish side of the fairway. There are two lean-tos with fireplaces on the beach. Fishing opportunity. We also rent boats and motors. Bring your own linens or sleeping bag. If you need linens, you can get them from us for an additional fee of €10/person.

Cozy furnished floor(2 rooms) on level 2 of villa in quiet area in central Pajala. "Äijän plakkari" is meänkieli for grandfather's pocket. A booking of the place always means own access to the entire upstairs, never shared with other parties. The floor has unique and "cramped" decorated "Blue plot's room" & "Skogen". Restaurants, grocery stores, etc. are only 5 minutes walk from the property.
