Exclusive use modern barn with stunning views

The barn is exclusive use with own self check in entry. It is an ideal location for the fresh air of the South Downs National Park, country walks, pubs and coastal visits. Alternatively, drive 20 minutes either way to Brighton or Eastbourne for the arts, nightlife or restaurant scenes. This accommodation provides a warm and comfortable welcome providing peace and quiet within a village environment. We are situated near the South Downs which is accessible by bike or car, only a 3 mile drive/ride in country lanes. The opera house Glyndebourne is a short distance, as is Charleston farmhouse, the country home of the Bloomsbury set. Ideally situated for the best of East Sussex. We have a private drive for you to park and separate access to the barn, to allow privacy. There is an area of garden and terrace available for you to enjoy the views. All the accommodation is on one level and assistance to terrace from the garden for wheelchairs will be made available if required. We live in the house north of the barn and will be mostly available to help with local knowledge of trips, attractions and restaurant recommendations. Our local inn The Yew Tree is most welcoming and offers our local ale "Harveys" as well as many of the local artisan brews such as Longman. The house is a three-minute walk from the village store offering homemade foods and local produce, as well as a cafe. The beaches at Seaford and Newhaven are a 15-minute drive away. There are wonderful village pubs all within striking distance. Berwick station is only 2.5 miles away with trains going to London, Gatwick, Brighton and Eastbourne. The airport LGW London Gatwick is a 45 minute drive away, LHR London Heathrow 1hr 15 minutes approx. The public transport is limited and we would recommend you use a taxi if you do not have a car. The barn has extensive views, including the bedroom which has a wonderful view across the gardens. The barn adjoins a large green field which is grown for meadow hay. The sunsets behind the ancient saxon burial mound known as Mount Caburn. The burning sky sunsets are the best!

The Hideaway Cottage

The Cottage is a self-contained annexe within the grounds of our home but separate from the main house. It has its own entrance, small garden, patio area & parking for one car only. The cottage is a great place to stay while you explore the beautiful Sussex countryside and coast. The historic town of Lewes is within a 10-minute drive, Uckfield 10 minutes, & Brighton is 30 minutes away. Trains: From London-Uckfield/Lewes We also have 2 shepherd's huts which use the same driveway as the Cottage.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Situated in a private corner of Wellshurst Golf club, enjoy the tranquil setting and cosy up in this brand new lodge. With everything you could need for a short stay and plenty of beautiful walks nearby, dogs are welcome and enjoying some golf is optional at our beautiful 18 hole course and driving range. Soak in the free standing tub whilst admiring the views, or relax on the deck and watch the sunset. 2 minute woodland walk to access.

It is located off a country lane so is very peaceful & surrounded by countryside for many different walks & the renowned Piltdown Golf Club is only a stone's throw away. Equipped with a king bed, TV, waterfall shower and separate WC, hair dryer, kettle and mini fridge. Outside space with table and chairs for al fresco dining! Located close to the Ashdown Forest with plenty of country walks. We are a 15 minute drive from Royal Tunbridge Wells and an hour from London and the East Sussex coast. We are on hand in the main house for your convenience.

Situated in a secluded part of our 16th century farm, this detached, south facing cart barn has been converted to a very high standard. In an ideal location overlooking a large duck pond and with distant views to the South Downs. It is a great base for walking the Wealdway or cycling the Cuckoo Trail. Places to explore include Lewes and Eastbourne, 9 miles. Glyndebourne 6 miles. An excellent pub and restaurant is within a ten minute walk along country footpaths. The village shop 2 miles.

Adjoining historic Heathfield Park, surrounded by woodland & wildlife. This detached, self-contained Annex in the grounds of our home. The space has been transformed into a cosy woodland retreat flooded with natural light. It has a secure private entrance & ample off-street parking. The lounge has a wood burning stove stocked with logs from our garden. The accommodation is ideal for a family of 4 or 2 couples, the bedroom has a kingsize bed and there's a kingsize sofa bed in the lounge.

The Old Stables is a completely self-contained detached building with its own parking space, in the village of Buxted. The Old Stables benefits from sitting on the edge of a wild meadow where guests are welcome to take a stroll or enjoy the wildlife and peaceful birdsong. There are two pubs, a shop and train station within a 5 minute walk. Set within the boundaries of Ashdown Forest there are numerous lovely walks on the doorstep and the town of Uckfield is a short drive away.
