The decor in this house is clean and simple. We think of it as modern country. The light is incredible with a living room of floor to ceiling windows. The house is surrounded by an apple orchard and rolling hills. Recently featured in Martha Stewart Living July/Aug 2019.
“My husband, our pup, and I had a wonderful time at Lost Creek Retreat. The home, garden/grounds, and surrounding area are all beautiful. We enjoyed reading by the sunlight and moonlight streaming through the many windows, cooking meals in the great kitchen, chilling at the outdoor fire pit, curling up on the couch to watch a movie projected on the wall, and just being in nature. The fresh bread and honey that was dropped on the doorstep was an extra sweet and unexpected treat. We hope to go back in the fall or winter!”

“This was the perfect solo getaway for me. I wanted something a bit remote, away from the cities, but also close enough to a town and other people. So it was perfect that Brenda lives right on the property, although I hardly saw her. The location was a bit hard to find, but Brenda was so helpful when I called her and she directed me right to her property. The barn was absolutely stunning and decorated beautifully. I was most impressed with how cool the inside stayed (it was over 80° and the fans kept the whole place cool, I didn’t have to use the AC at all). There were two sweet dogs on the property and they were so fun to play with. I went into Stockholm a few times and hiking at Maiden Rock Bluff, which was an easy hike with beautiful scenery. I can’t wait to plan another trip here!”

“Whiskey Bluff Cabin is the perfect place & space to get away, unwind and relax! It’s private & remote enough in the woods while still being close to town. The fireplace is so nice and the bed was super comfortable. Christopher was very communicative and had a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Great price and place and we’ll definitely return!”
