It is a fully private rental, limited to one group per day, so it is perfect for families or groups of friends. You can enjoy your private time at your leisure. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, and you are free to bring in your own ingredients and cook for yourself. Kirishima's climate is pleasant, with cosy warmth around the fireplace in winter and cool breezes in summer. About 15 minutes by car to Takachiho-gahara and Onami-ike, It is also an ideal base for mountain climbing and hiking. Also, please be sure to read the separate section (Other things to note) regarding the use of the facilities. *There is a separate charge for the sauna. ✴︎ Although the photos of the entire inn show that it is connected on the surface, the structure is independent from the entrance of each guest room, so you can enjoy your stay by renting the entire building. ★ Notes regarding children's accommodation (12 years old and under) Since the facilities are wooden buildings, the structure is such that sound easily echoes to the adjacent rooms. There are no handrails on the stairs in the rooms. The handrail on the second-floor balcony is wide, so you need to be very careful. There is a cliff in front of the terrace on the first floor. Please be aware of this when booking for children 12 years old and under.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.
