Beachfront holiday rentals in Pico Island

Wonderful spot, authentic house and surroundings, special welcome. We love vibe of the house, space outside, many places to sit around garden and drink coffe or wine, easy grilling space, beautiful views. I think pictures doesn’t do a full justice for these wonderful place.

Nice personal welcome and farewell by Andreia. She was always available. Parking right outside the door. Apartment equipped with everything you need. We felt very comfortable.

A beautiful, spacious and cozy house with a stunning view. Looking out to the sea and the islands of the Azores in the morning is something very special. The house offers every comfort and is a wonderful base from which to explore Pico. It is quite and cozy. We enjoyed every moment - from getting up overlooking the sea to an aperitif and sunset dinner. Ana always responded promptly, even Vaina, who takes care of the house, was always available. The arrival was unproblematic, as was the departure. A beautiful spot on earth! Feel free to come back anytime. Thank you for having us!

Characteristic house in a very quiet area of the island, surrounded by greenery and facing the ocean. We were greeted by an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The house is the perfect retreat for those looking for close contact with nature. The view is very nice and the walks in the surroundings were very nice. The host was always responsive in responding to our calls to understand how to get to the house. The little gifts when we arrived were a much appreciated extra touch. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Our vacation with Grandma and Grandpa was a great experience on the island of Pico and in the wonderful house of James. The house with pool was our favorite in the selection, so there is something for everyone. View, swimming area, pool, cozy retreats in the house and in front of it. It has everything you want. Only the weather cannot be influenced and therefore we still have an account to settle with Montana de Pico. That's why we'll come back and, if possible, definitely to James'.

Our stay was great. It can get warm in the bedrooms, but the sliding doors could come in on a gap.

Lovely home is a great spot close to the main town of Madelana and number of good walks nearby. The pool was perfect for a sunny day and many friendly cats! Wifi was a bit in and out but the whole island seems to be like that. Plenty to do offline anyway.

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed!! The island is already breathtaking but the location of the home, the view, and the pool made our experience on Pico even better. Ana and Benedita have been super accommodating and allowed me to change the dates during the pandemic. I finally was able to visit after two years and it was well worth the wait! If you are on the fence you need to book this stay. They also own a couple restaurants on the island, i highly recommend going to Magma for a nice meal overlooking the ocean!

Absolutely stunning house and views - loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean, plus the pool is amazing. Loved the traditional decor / furniture too.

We had a great time here. The property is on the other side of the island from the airport, so it takes a bit to get there and, because of that, is less touristy. There are some cute towns nearby (10-15 min drive) and there is also a natural pool/swimming area a few short flights right down from the house. We had a great time swimming there and then going out to eat nearby. Ivan was super responsive - even helping us figuring out how to cover for a cash-only breakfast when our ATM card wasn’t working.

We loved the thoughtful food items left for us. The beds are firm and comfortable, and the heaters kept us warm at night. The couch was also cozy, perfect for hours of reading and enjoying the solitude. Be cautious with the entrance—it’s a narrow, steep, one-way street. Large cars might get scratched or not fit at all. A small car is ideal, but one with a weak engine may struggle. Once parked, the space is great. Finding the house was tricky, as the GPS didn’t recognize the address, but we discovered two routes to get there. There’s no dryer, so drying clothes on the rack can be challenging, especially in rainy seasons. Bring quick-dry and waterproof clothing. Carlos and Manuela provided a helpful restaurant guide, though many were closed during our visit. We explored local spots and loved the food—Aromas and Sabores in Lajes is a must! If you seek peace and seclusion, this cozy place is perfect. We never met another person during our stay.

THE HOUSE IS AMAZING! Every part is perfect! It’s the only house that we stayed during our holidays that is decorated for Christmas, and you can feel the thoughtfulness from the host. Indeed the house is well maintained and you have everything needed for living here. Many check-in gifts. Amazing view of the sea and the volcano. Taisa is very kind and helpful. I really hope to visit again.

The Airbnb was cozy and could feel completely comfortable. Above all, the nature surrounding the accommodation has fascinated us and really captivated us. We liked hikes around the house and after that, the accommodation offered everything necessary for recreation. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher and large stove, which was very useful to us. When we got cold, we turned on the heater and it got warm quickly in the cottage. For nature lovers, this place is for you!

We enjoyed our stay with views of Faial across the water and Pico inland. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings quiet.

Joanna’s place was fully refreshing, relaxing and stress free. Here you can really enjoy the privacy in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The air and the environment is very clean. Enjoying the beautiful ocean water and sunshine is really the best part of being here in the Azores. The extraordinary views of Pico make it a very interesting location. Joana is great with communication and keeps the place really clean. Obrigado, Joana.

We love Diana's place! what an amazing view, . the faja is peaceful, stunning. stay here for sure! make sure you stay for a few nights to really take advantage and relax fully! we'll be back I'm sure! Diana's so friendly, helpful and it's great to meet the owner which can be a rarity these days on Airbnb we would've loved to have stayed for longer!

Perfect place to stay in an idyllic place (facing the sea). Its location allowed us to shine throughout the island of Faial. Finally, Joao was very attentive, he is very professional and very friendly. Special mention, he speaks French:) If we return to Faial, we would not hesitate to take back this beautiful place!
