Holiday rentals with breakfast in Pico Island

Wow. Just...wow. A beautiful, home in an absolutely stunning setting. Everything felt new and clean with modern but inviting architecture. The view from the kitchen/living room/balcony is gorgeous and peaceful. The pool is lovely and just steps away. The place was immaculate and Cleide, who manages the property, is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The house is a few minutes walk or drive to natural pools, outdoor natural pools, and a small but very cute market for groceries. Every morning, Cleide left us a box of fresh pastries and cheese and meat for breakfast. We loved this property and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a deep breath and maybe do some dolphin and whale watching :)

Everything is just wonderful over here! the location is beautiful, the accomodation cosy, clean and well equipped and the owners rather friendly. Also the breakfast basket in the morning is full of delicious stuff! Luckily they let us stay for one night, eventhough the minimum was actually 2 nights. Unfortunately we were unable to stay a little longer. Highly recommendable stay!

We were very impressed with our stay at the Atlantic Heritage Luxury Villa. Coming from Canada, we appreciated the level of communication from Carolina (booking manager) prior to our arrival. She was able to accommodate our many requests from airport transportation, to food and drinks, including getting us a bottle of 2013 Czar wine (not an easy thing to do). The home was stunning and had everything we needed for our family of 6. Everyone had a private room and washroom. We loved the large dining room table to enjoy all our meals together. The grounds are private, safe and so peaceful. We absolutely loved the view of Faial and the infinity pool. What made the whole stay special for us was our on-site host Catia. She prepared an amazing breakfast every day, was available for anything we needed, and made many great recommendations. Catia was so kind to our family and she is the reason our stay was extra special. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to be back one day!

First of all, we did not stay in exactly this apartment. It is a complex with three apartments and we were informed about a week before, that they renovate the booked one. But to be honest, since we have been alone in the whole complex and could test the views of all three terraces of the apartments, our alternative accommodation had a nicer view to the ocean and Sao Jorge, than the originally booked apartment. So if it is the view you are going for, then look at Google Maps for highland homes in Pico - you can see all the apartments (the greatest one has a stunnig view). The trees were trimmed, so you can see the ocean in every room. A highlight is the lavastone, but you need to pack slippers for inside, the floor is very cold. Another highlight is the garden, it is like a botanic garden, with a lot of plants we have never seen before and absolutely beautiful. There is also an easy but nice hiking trail at the end of the road and since it is a dead end, there is no traffic too.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte vor Ort und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Den Pool hatten wir für uns ganz alleine, alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Aussicht ein Traum und die Ruhe. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und wir hatten alles, nichts hat gefehlt. Sogar ein schönes Frühstück wurde uns am ersten Morgen serviert. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Assen, er ist die gute Seele und immer vor Ort und sehr hilfreich!! Egal was für Fragen oder Probleme, Assen hat für alles eine Lösung. Kleiner Tipp für euch, nehmt euch gleich einen Mietwagen am Flughafen, wir hatten keinen und mussten schauen wie wir zur Unterkunft kommen. Am Flughafen stehen nicht immer Taxen. Dank der Hilfe von Assen und Raquel konnten wir aber in den Ort um einzukaufen. Von der Unterkunft kann man sehr schöne Touren unternehmen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und hier sehr gerne übernachten.

The small house of Antonio is situated in an very calm village on the north side of Pico island. It has an incredible view on the ocean an the neighbor island São Jorge. The interior is carefully selected and very coherent to the architecture of the cottage. Antonio is a very friendly and competent host. He gave us some good insider tips of the island. We can highly recommend this accommodation, especially for travelers looking for peace and serenity.
