“Alecia's place is a cozy, serene getaway from the hustle and bustle of every-day life. During the day there are some beautiful hikes nearby, and the view from the front porch is a great place to catch the sunset. The backyard is very private and we especially enjoyed the colorful solar lights set dim enough that we could still see the stars. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking essentials and utensils, and the propane barbecue was simple to use. The downstairs closet also sported a fun array of games and puzzles. The bed in the master was very comfortable and we especially appreciated the electric blanket as it wasn't cold enough in late May to justify turning on the heater! (Note that the upstairs bathroom doesn't have a door separating it from the bedroom) We very much enjoyed our stay, thank you Alecia!”

“Lovely home in quiet mountain setting. We appreciated the giant windows and had plenty of room for our family. Very nice visit. A few notes that may help others: - We weren’t quite sure what to expect for the bedroom layout from the description. On the main level, there are 2 bedrooms (1 with a queen bed, 1 with 2 twin beds) and a hallway full bathroom. Upstairs, there is a large bedroom with 2 queens and attached full bathroom. We also saw a twin rollaway and a twin daybed that could potentially be used as beds upstairs. Note: you have to walk up a fair number of stairs to get from outside to the main level so make sure your group is able to do this. - Our Subaru did just fine with the driveway. If you are visiting in winter, you’ll probably want all wheel drive for the rest of the mountain roads anyway. - Make sure you sort your trash and individual recycling items as you go. You’ll need to take it to the transfer station on your way out of town and put individual items in the right places (brown glass in the brown glass bin etc). Some of you are probably thinking “of course!” but most of our group hadn’t ever seen anything like this. - Make sure you have directions with you (no cell service and it took a little while to get the WiFi working) - There were plenty of blankets and pillows. Definitely nice for a house like this! Overall, a great place to stay.”

“This little cabin is the perfect place to get away. It's much more spacious than the pictures make it appear and the place is perfectly decorated, from the Butterfly Loft to the multiple places to lounge around. The deck offers a perfect view of the mountain tops, an amazing place to sip coffee in the morning. Could not recommend this place highly enough!”
