Cabin holiday rentals in Pine Mountain Lake

This spot was perfect for our little family of three. Half way between Yosemite's South Gate and the surprisingly well-equipped town of Oakhurst, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would book this place again. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was very responsive when asked a question or two during the visit. The wood-burning stove and the hot tub were a bonus for tired legs after long hikes, and a cozy atmosphere and opportunity to warm up during nightly movies while relaxing. Would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a non-hotel option that's very private and slightly off the beaten path.

Our stay at Ponderosa Pines was wonderful! The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to a relaxing hot tub. The location was perfect for exploring local attractions, and we loved the access to Twain Harte Lake. Overall, a fantastic retreat – we can’t wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Avand was super helpful and accommodating & his place met all our expectations. Some highlights for me were the disco ball in the back patio/kitchenette area, the hot tub and the hammock & the bidet lol. And of course the constant sound of frogs and crickets :) We also had some turkey friends that visited daily. The location is an easy drive to downtown mariposa with a bunch of great little restaurants, grocery stores and shops. And a beautiful 50min-1hr drive to Yosemite! Highly recommend & would stay again!

Super cozy my family loved staying here! The hot tub makes it so worth after a long day of tubing. My favorite part was the kitchen fully stocked with everything you may need, felt right at home making family meals. Beds were super comfy rooms and bathrooms were really clean. It has a really cool That 70s vibes. We had fondue one night for dinner and it was fabulous!

The listing for the home is very accurate and working with the homeowner was very easy and quick. We enjoyed the amentities at the home and the private lake.

Todd & Ileen’s place truly lives up to the pictures and description just as beautiful, if not more! Tucked away in the woods, it offers a cozy, serene retreat that feels perfectly private once you enter into, it’s like your own little escape into nature. The cabin is warm and inviting, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the master bedroom with its skylight roof window—lying in bed and watching the full moon through it was pure magic. It’s those little moments that made the stay unforgettable.

The Copper Cabin was an incredible experience! Intimate and beautiful, the cabin is decked out with every imaginable accommodation and more. The hot tub and grill overlook a breath taking vista so no matter where you are, the view is incredible. The interior is so well designed and taken care of. They provided a full kitchen and bar set, and every appliance came with easy to understand instructions. As well as a house manual and were very communicative since the booking. Definitely a great find. Our 4-person trip to Yosemite was incredible, and with this cabin, even our evenings were wonderful! Thanks so much, Natalie and the Copper Cabin!

This place is a charm and has character. Felt very comfortable, right at home, the amenities were perfect and I thought it was spacious. Host was very responsive and provided recommendations.

Buffy & Chip's place was very homey and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with gadgets and appliances. They were very responsive to our messages and went out of their way to help us out. I would come back again, highly recommend!

Great place to stay near Yosemite park.

Cute cabin/house on the lake. Drove to Yosemite one day. Lake community activities closed for the season, but we kayaked on the lake.

Cozy cabin with exquisite attention paid to amenities and creature comforts. EXCEPTIONALLY well-stocked: kitchen just like home; plenty of toys, games, and puzzles for all ages; towels, linens, and an abundance of blankets; and bathrooms prepared as you would for family. We made repeat trips to Yosemite with ease. Dark skies made for great stargazing. This experience sets a high bar for our next Airbnb to measure up to.

Staying at this amazing place at the Gateway to Yosemite was a highlight of our California trip. The home is immaculate, with Frances & family sparing no expense to make it practical, cozy, beautiful aesthetically, and upscale. From the kitchen to the utensils to the linens-- it had everything. My 2 teenage boys occupied the lower floor with a beautiful walkout to an amazing back yard; there was a Nespresso coffee machine- but my 15 year loved the classy touch of the carafe of fresh water and glasses, as well as the table top video game machine with board games on it! The upstairs bedroom had an electric fireplace, skylight, & super-comfortable sheets and mattresses and blankets. The living area was gorgeous- comfy sofa, huge TV, woodburning fireplace (used twice on snowy days). Fancy esspresso maker/coffee maker AND Keurig, great dining space, & a balcony overlooking the forest- so private! Board games! I wish I could post pictures to show the view of snowy trees! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Desiree and Rosanne are super host. Pre check in exchanges about the cabin was very helpful. While we stayed in the cabin, the kitchen and the big countertop (even the cabin has a large dining table) were our favorite spot. We prepared meals, discussed about our Yosemite itin & routes, enjoy coffee and chats there. One thing I must highlight is the visit of the deer family and Eric (wild turkey) to the cabin during our stay there. Besides its remote location and somewhat distance from nearby towns, I have nothing to complain but just praises to this cabin.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Valerie’s cabin in Groveland, CA! The cabin was fantastic—clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped to make us feel right at home. Valerie went above and beyond to ensure our Christmas was magical, even putting up a beautifully decorated Christmas tree for us! It was such a thoughtful touch that added to the holiday spirit. The kids were thrilled to see so many animals around the property—it was like a mini adventure every day! Watching their excitement made our stay even more special. Valerie was an amazing host, always responsive and attentive to our needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a perfect family getaway with charming details and a host who truly cares, this is the place!

Very responsive hosts, clear and thoughtful directions for all aspects of your stay. Home is in a nice gated private community with good access to Yosemite National Park. We appreciated the comfortable beds and updated kitchen and bathrooms.

Sonia is an excellent host and a very kind person. She went out of her way to help resolve an issue with my car during the check-in. Everything was perfect, except a minor issue. The driveway leading up to the house is very steep. So if you are traveling with lots of luggage in a van, it is advisable to park the car at the bottom of the driveway instead of trying to take it up the hill. My Toyota Sienna hybrid van could not go all the way to the top of the driveway and got stuck. Sonia helped me locate a local tow truck driver who was able to bring the van down to the street level.

We had a wonderful stay at Sayona's place. The check-in process was extremely smooth. The house was sparkly clean, very well organized, warm and inviting with plenty of amenities and so thoughtfully designed with clear instructions about everything. We really enjoyed hanging out in the outdoor space with the hot tub. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet location with easy access to handful of restaurants and grocery store. Sayona was very responsive and always there to help us with any questions. Highly recommend!

This property met all my expectations and more. Perfect for the family very comfortable/very kids friendly will stay here again in the future trips here close to the marina where most of our time was spent

What we like the most is the house is clean. They have All necessary things that you will need in the kitchen. The surroundings are peaceful and safe.

Kim was a great host, she was very responsive and accommodating. We had a great time at the cabin! the kids had a lot to enjoy from the large selection of board games + the welcoming soft toys. The place was conveniently located in between our two vacation spots, Pinecrest lake and Yosemite. We also had a Tesla charging station in about 4 miles.
