“The chalet was very clean, well decorated and well equipped. The view of the lake (in winter in our case) was superb. The place is peaceful and that's exactly what we were looking for. We went for a walk on the trails nearby. Awesome! Only negative comment would be that the upper bed in the bunk bed was uncomfortable according to one of the travelers. But without a doubt we would recommend this place! Very good value for money! Thanks again!”
For a bohemian stay in the purest style "My cabin in Canada", our log camp awaits you. It has all the amenities for a pleasant stay. It is available from May to mid October approx. before the risk of frost. Near Lac-Mégantic, the refuge is next to a campsite but is not part of it. It is a private lot on which you can walk quietly. For a unique experience, come and live in a 32-acre sugar bush, where there is a stream and 2 ponds.
“Armande and Gilles are the sweetest hosts you can possibly land on. They greeted us with hugs and were very easy to get a hold of. The cabin is bigger than the photos allow to imagine. Very cosy and very toasty. A big thumbs up for us!! if you are looking for a quiet, rustic cabin experience, this is the place. (We went over the fall time and there were absolutely no one at the camp close by). Thanks again for the short but very sweet stay xx”

“The pictures don't do the place justice; still images can't capture the atmosphere of the surroundings and the quaint comfort of the Chalet itself. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, and had a fully stocked kitchen supply set for all of the cooking you would want to do. The rooms/beds are very comfortable and well-decorated, and the shower/bathroom was also very spacious. Sophie and Luke were great hosts and helped us to carry our luggage up. They also have two very nice, friendly dogs that I loved petting. Would definitely come here again if I had the chance.”
