The apartment is sunny, cozy and is conveniently located in Koknese. Shops close by. Surroundings quiet and peaceful. The home is set up to be comfortable living. Overall a great stay, simple communication with host, clear instructions, everything that was promised was provided. The only thing missing for me personally was a stovetop or oven to cook food for prolonged stays but this was clearly stated in the listing and an outdoor barbecue serves as an alternative.

Wonderful place in a great location, with beautiful forest, river and castle walks walks on the doorstep minutes away. Places is well equipped, spacious and clean. Host was very attentive and eager to do well for their guests. Price more than fair. Highly recommended! Note — WiFi was out when we were there, but we managed with mobile data, since there is excellent coverage despite the rural location.

Very pleasant place and welcoming hostess! There is also a quarry nearby with clear water. It should be noted that there is a motorway near the lodge that may disturb total silence.

We had a fantastic stay at Aija's. Waking up in the early morning surrounded by nature, with the songs of the ash cranes audible from the terrace, watching the sunrise over the marsh, it's really a pleasure. The accommodation is well equipped, and Aija is very attentive, the wood fire cracked when we arrived, which allowed us to enjoy the sauna directly. The next day, during our tour, Aija offered to turn the stove back on before we returned. Really great!
