Welcome to Casa Marina! The property consists of a house with 2 separate efficiency apartments, one sleeps up to 4 people the other one 2. Both units have a queen size bed, the one that sleeps 4 also has a futon.
“I stayed at Marina's for eight nights and it was perfect! I was coming off a retreat and wanted down time before my next stop. I am also writing a book so wanted some quiet and solitude. Her place is very cozy and has everything you need to cook. She thoughtfully provided coffee and sugar. The bed is very hard, I like a firm bed but it could benefit from a foam topper. The pool was very relaxing. AC worked great! I didn't really know much about Playa Grande. Her place is in a residential area so was happy to see that a short 5 minute walk down the road was Cantamara, a lovely open air restaurant (and part of a small boutique hotel), with amazingly good, healthy, fresh food at reasonable prices. Another 5 minutes down the road past that is a small market where I was able to buy enough so that I could cook many of my own meals (though produce was pretty limited). There was also another bar next to it which I didn't go to but it was cute. Less than 10 minutes past that is Hotel Bula Bula which had a restaurant bar I went to once and was nice. There are likely other places but I wasn't looking to get out and about. The beach is indeed a 5 minute walk. It's very secluded as Playa Grande isn't a tourist spot, so very peaceful to walk along, and the ocean seemed a little less intense than in Tamarindo. Marina arranged a shuttle for me to go to Liberia airport. She saved me some money! It was only $25, much cheaper than other advertised shuttles. Overall my experience was great! Marina was super helpful, even sent my laundry to a service for $5. I loved her place and would stay there again.”
This is a guest house. Located in the same property where we lived. It’s a brand new cabin full of design details. It has a spectacular outdoor shower and bathtube where you can enjoy the stars view while having a bath. A king size bed and a minibar .

Indra Inn is a cozy bed and breakfast in the center of Playa Grande, Costa Rica. The garden is full of cashew, mango, and papaya trees. It's small, tranquil, and comfortable. Indra Inn is located on the main entrance of Playa Grande, situated very close to 4 amazing restaurants and 100 meters from the mini supermarket. We are a 10 minute walk or 1 minute drive to the sunny beach of Playa Grande. High tide is great for surfing (365 days of waves a year) and low tide is great for tide pools.
“It is a very well set place. Each cabin has its own Paraguayan hammock and small table. The common kitchen is always clean and well equipped. The attention of the owners, Matthew and Natalia, is EXCELLENT. Always available to give you the best advice on beaches, supermarkets, restaurants, whatever. They are very friendly and always give you personalized attention! The breakfast they prepare personally is delicious, fresh and varied. The rooms are clean, air conditioning, fan, very nice bathroom! It is near the beach, you can walk. Ambience is really cozy and nice! The owners are always available, they are there to give you their advice on the best beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. They make you feel at home by receiving you and preparing a delicious homemade fresh breakfast. The place is within a walk distance from Playa Grande where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The room is really nice and clean. The common kitchen is really well equipped!”
