I have a 1 bedroom self contained flat. The flat has a kitchen , bathroom, lounge and conservatory complete with a small patio area. The flat is connected to the main house within a gated property. In the main house I live with my children and a very old friendly Labrador. The is plenty of parking space outside the flat. We also provide free wifi.
“It is a great flat perfect for short stays to visit the local area. It is about 20mins walk to Hereford High Street and there are a variety of local restaurants and takeaways. Amanda and Steve are great they are helpful and respond quickly. We had some difficulty with the wifi but ultimately it is a lovely place to stay and we highly recommend it.”
Chesil Bank is set in the stunning countryside just 2miles ( and on a bus route) from the beautiful market town of Monmouth. The Wye valley is on the door step with the rivers Wye and Monnow brilliant for water activities. A hop over the back field will take you to the glorious Buckholt woods, brimming with flora and fauna. This area is renowned for cyclists and we are actually on the John O' Groats to Land's End cycle route!
“We enjoyed our stay in Wendy’s cottage full of character and she made us feel very welcome and gave us plenty of local tips. Also good directions to get there.. Although close to a road it still felt like a rural homely retreat and very convenient for Monmouth.”
The wooden cabin has been hand built on elevated views looking over the Forest of Dean. A private and secluded dwelling surrounded by country walks, fascinating wildlife, & historic places to visit. With quality pubs nearby this cabin is perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Full electrics, bathroom with shower and cooking facilities including a wood fired pizza oven. Easy to access with parking & a donkey to keep you company! Pets welcome with plenty of long walks.
“We stayed here for my birthday on the 20th March. It was even better than I could have imagined. Incredibly cosy and a wonderful escape during these stressful times! Andy was more than attentive and it seemed like there was so request too great. It’s an amazing location and the cabin has everything you could need - even hand gel!!!! We will be back with the dog next time to explore the surrounding walks! If your pizzas end up as bad as ours then we recommend the The Lyon Inn pub... the fish and chips were incredible - even as a takeaway. Thank you again. Beth + Fred x”
