Holiday rentals with a patio in Porirua

Petone Haven is a lovely house with a garden which gets sunshine until early evening. So close to the main street, it was very quiet. Close as well to the beach and shore. Lots of lovely restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby. The house was contemporary, clean, had extra towels and bedding: we had everything we needed. We will stay again as we loved it there!

We really enjoyed our stay with Ramona. Everything was very clean and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and everything smelled very pleasantly of fresh linens and a lovely room fragrance. She also left us lovely welcome flowers. I can recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to explore Wellington. It takes about 30-40 minutes by train (including walking to the station) to the city center. Supermarkets are also very easy to reach by car.

The accommodation was spacious, walking distance to Sky Stadium and to the city centre, the beds were very comfortable and the place was clean.

Absolutely beautiful spot - best I’ve ever had. Felt like a palace for us on a night together without the kids!

We have stayed hundreds of holiday rentals and without doubt this is a solid 5-star ppty. The ppty was super clean, amazing floor plan, all the required amenities plus much more, comfortable furniture of the highest quality and our lovely host Ruby includes various sweet delights. The decor is 5-star and it's obvious that our host is totally focused on presenting a high standard which is a credit to her professionalism and attention to detail. We firmly rate this ppty and our host Ruby a solid 5-stars but without the 5-star price. This ppty and host shoots up to one of our top 5 rentals we have booked over many years of travel. Thank you Ruby! We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this ppty and host to all.

I were very honored to have had the opportunity to have stayed at Charmer, Arnold & Shiela are awesome hosts, very quick to help ( like my bins in strong winds ). The two bedroom apartment/house are very well structured and I felt right at home when I entered, most stunning views in the day but ever better at night with the city/town lights in the distance, it was amazing but unfortunately I had to go. I will recommend Arnold & Shiela's place called Charmer to anyone that visit wellington, tawa or any places around them. You have to visit them atleast once to see what the fuss is about.... you will not regret it. Thanks again to Arnold & Shiela for hosting me you are the perfect hosts

This house is exactly as described in the listing. What the pictures and description can't convey, is the sense of complete contentment, relaxation and rejuvenation this home gives it guests. The ambience must be experienced to be understood. Waves constantly break (or lap gently) on the beautiful beach across the road in front of the house, the birds sing at dawn from the canopy of native trees on the slope behind the house. FIshermen, with their day boats launch from the slipway opposite and return smiling with their catch - and will GIVE you freshly caught fish in return for a friendly greeting. Elderly couples stroll by occasionally walking their dogs. Children are sometimes heard squealing with surprise as they wade into the cold water. Everyone is smiling, friendly but never forward or intrusive. Really, it's just a heavenly place to spend time. Authentic, unpretentious but with all amenities, mod-cons and equipment needed to make the stay unforgettable. A treasured Find !

We found the house clean, comfortable and homely. Lots of parking space, an outdoor area and a great living space. The beds were comfortable and clean. A great place to stay!
