“Sandy is a super welcoming and caring host, he was always available to answer our questions and explain his island to us! We had a great stay with him; the house is very well located, just opposite the small fishing port of Port Mathurin, there is everything you need to be good, the beds are comfortable; from the small terrace you can watch the fishermen come home with their spoils at dawn, have breakfast in the sun and an aperitif in the evening. We have a happy memory of our stay at Sandy's”

“We spent a week at Valérie and André and we were very happy with our stay: very nice welcome, clean and nice accommodation, comfortable bedding, view of the garden, its birds and bats ... a real haven of peace ! We enjoyed the breads, pastries, jams and pestos Valerie. Bus stop 10 meters from the house, very convenient. André and Valerie also rent a scooter. Note that the jacuzzi is currently unusable. In summary, a good place where we will return with pleasure!”

“I came to Marie Annes place on my own for a few nights, but stayed for almost a week and got company of this woman I've never met before: Joaninha. She was some girl Joaninha! She was a cyclone type 4! And while trees and roofs and pylons around me were blown away by Joaninha's force, I felt very safe in Marie Annes rental house. Rock steady that place! Marie Anne and partner helped me survive this cyclone experience with sharing their food and whenever possible their company. No one was allowed for two days to leave their homes, there was no electricity on the island, but still I felt comfortable. I got to read all new books on my ereader, all six. Then the ereader was empty too. As cyclone Joaninha moved on, I still had another day to see the beauty of the island of Rodrigues. Great experience, wonderful hosts, nice place. If you're looking for a shelter on Rodrigues for better or for worse, Marie Annes place is the place to be.”
