Just metres from Porthilly Beach on the stunning Camel Estuary, aptly named 'Little Tides' is a beautifully converted barn. The property is tucked away in a sought after cove location on the grounds of Porthilly Farm, just a short walk across the beach to Rock. This charming little gem is an idyllic coastal getaway perfect for romantic breaks, taking it easy by the sea or for adventurous getaways alike. We run a working dairy and shellfish farm and our oysters & mussels are grown in the estuary.

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Porthcothan beach is a gentle wander around the coastal path and Trescore, Porthmear, Golden Burn and Pentire and are right on your doorstep. This cute space, hand built by the host, is situated in a quiet field with 2 other accomodation spaces but plenty of privacy and peace.

Little Rilla, near to beaches & Padstow
Little Rilla is situated 5 mins outside St Merryn. A car will be needed to get to the bars, shops, bakery in the village.Padstow is a ten minute car journey. Little Rilla is blessed with 'seven bays for seven days', meaning you have seven beaches to visit all within a five - ten minute drive. You really are spoilt for choice with arguably some of the most beautiful beaches . Fab for surfing, dog walking, eating, drinking and a choice of idyllic cycle routes.
