“Joelle is a wonderful host who was quick to respond to any questions I had and generously gave her time to answer my inquires about Todi and the surrounding area. Her accommodations are charming, luxurious and comfortable. She makes you feel right at home the moment you meet her. The location of her stylish and well appointed B&B is quite convenient. There is free public parking in a very safe area within 100 meters of her front door. The beautiful and historic town of Todi is at your feet once you arrive and restaurants and cultural experiences are all around. Joelle is a marvelous chef and the two breakfasts she prepared for me during my stay felt like holiday feasts. If you are searching for a unique place to stay while in Todi with the warmth of home I can highly recommend the Porta di Todi and Joelle.”
“If you're tired of the frantic rhythm of the modern city and repeating everyday routine - feel free to come to Bruno and Maria in the Italian village Menicaglie, located in the heart of Umbria. You will serve as a guide Civitella del Lago - a small town situated on one of the highest cliffs in the vicinity of Lake Corbara. On the road to Civitella, somewhere in the middle you have to find a turning to the left, there is a small purple-brown Menicaglie plate. Take the dirt road very slowly and after the green garage door left Congress to Bruno's house. But if you get lost in the night (as it happened to us) you will find Bruno and conducts to the house. Of course, you need to come here only by car. Otherwise, as you visit the picturesque villages of a million? It is remote from civilization, a place with a huge garden and excellent views. It radiates serenity and tranquility. Maria baked us amazingly delicious cake with a delicate cream filling and Nadar bunch of edible gifts. My mother and I immediately felt like a favorite niece visiting relatives. House of quality, clean and well maintained. It feels strong master hand and designer Bruno vein Marii. Stay in this house is surprisingly comfortable. Every detail is thought out - a ceiling light switch near the pillow, warm the floor next to a large mirror, air humidifiers on batteries, shutters on the windows, bed mats, the battery in the bathroom. Very comfortable king size bed, soft pillows, light and warm blankets. The house is very cozy because of the abundance of cute knickknacks (carefully! They are fragile). Heating gas, there is always hot water. This house is full of mysterious sounds, and at night under the window shouting bird, as if myauchit kitten. And if you are creative creative person - the house will tell you stories for many stories. Nature and views - amazing. Very nice to go out in the morning on the porch with a cup of hot chocolate and listen to the birds singing and the ringing of the bell tower of Civitella. The day after our arrival, the hosts took us to the nearest large supermarket in Orvieto (25 km) and a tour of the main attractions of this magical city. And on the way back already on a dirt road we saw a few wild boars. Bruno sent us an email to a lot of information about interesting places nearby. The hosts Bruno and Maria are very sociable and caring people. It is a pity that we could not talk properly due to a language barrier. But organizational issues we solved without problems. The house has everything for a comfortable stay - from towels, hair dryer - dressing up duckling. There is even a coffee machine! Microwave oven, toaster, stove, refrigerator. Fireplace! Stable internet. And all this splendor you get for very little money. My assessment - it is ten out of five. 200 percent successful holiday! Tip: Rent a car with a navigator, buy a local SIM card (provider TIM 4 GB € 20), do not forget to warm slippers (stone floor) - and come to Menicaglie. You will see non-touristic Italy - without homeless people and beggars, swindlers and without solicitation. You will find yourself in the medieval town of Todi, you will make purchases with local zhitelyamiv in Orvieto, drink some cappuccino in a bar where no one speaks in English in Civitella del Lago, admire the grandiose panoramic views of mountains, forests and lakes. In these places you want to return again and again. Thank you, Bruno and Maria, ...”
At the beginning of the medieval quarter, panoramic, bright, intimate and a step away from the center.
“Orvieto is a great city and this booking is a great option to get to know the city. It was very pleasant that the car could be parked in a private parking lot. When the batteries were populated, they warmed up very much, but they turned off at night, there is a heating control unit in the corridor, unfortunately I realized this late. If you get instructions from Alice on how to use heating, you won’t freeze, I’m sorry I didn’t guess. The house itself is located almost on the main street and the location is very convenient. The apartments are equipped with everything necessary. We really enjoyed!”
