Holiday rentals with a patio in Potomac River

Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay at Alex's great apartment and would not hesitate to book it again. The apartment is well maintained, has some great views of DC, and more importantly very close to the metro, shops and restaurants. The gym in the building and the parking was an added bonus. The building itself is located on a slight hill and there are wonderful side walks, to do that walking exercise. We highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect spot for walking the city. I visited with a preschooler and this was the perfect place from which to strike out for great meals, book shop browsing, playground exploring, and even an afternoon on the National Mall and in the museums. Easy walk from Union Station. Fun neighborhood with family, but enough great options that my husband and I plan to return sans kiddo for more meals and casual exploring on foot. This was a perfect place for a brief escape in the city.

We had a wonderful stay! This place is beautifully decorated, with very comfortable mattresses, and very nice amenities. It was a perfect setup as a family with kids (much more comfortable than a hotel!) and so convenient to museums and restaurants. There’s even a full grocery store a couple blocks away. The location cannot be beat. Excellent hosts!

Great location and a wonderful space to stay while we were in Cambridge for a conference. Becky & John were easy to get a hold of and very accommodating.

Sophia and her family made us feel comfortable,safe and always a pleasure to talk with. Accommodations were just what we needed. A bright and multipurpose kitchen made it easy to make family meals after a long outing. An amazing Washer and Dryer Her spacious cozy bedrooms helped us to finish the day off with contentment. I highly recommend making the choice to stay at Sophia’s and her family’s place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Right next to John Hopkins Hospital. 🏥

Stay was exactly as described. Home was clean and had everything needed for a home base for work and camp for the kids. Jorge and John we very communicative and friendly. 100% would reccomend.

This was such a cute place. It was so spacious, way more than we needed, but for the price, it was a steal. I would recommend this lovely home to everyone!

The house was bright and sunny and perfect for our family of 4+ my mom including our newborn. Beds were comfortable, everything super clean and small touches like water and charging lamps on bedside made it very nice. Hosts were super responsive and even brought us backyard furniture to enjoy the beautiful weather. Location is convenient in falls church and easy to get to 50. Was also a great neighborhood for walks with sidewalks.

Josh's place was exactly what I was looking for. It was immaculate throughout, with easy parking, and walkable to my Richmond destinations. He provided everything needed for the trip - well-stocked kitchen, towels and linens, and plenty of room for the four of us. The area was quiet, with just the sound of an occasional train a couple of hundred yards away which was more relaxing to me than intrusive! Checking in and out was extremely simple, and Josh checked in to ensure our stay was going well. This will definitely be on my list of places to stay for my future trips to Richmond. A+++++

The October House was a perfect getaway for our family. The house is very comfortable with ample room. We had a fantastic weekend in Basye. Would absolutely return.

This place was so well stocked and inviting. There was plenty of food in the refrigerator for breakfast. We did not need to buy anything at all. There was also a great deal of toiletries in case we forgot something. We really enjoyed this house.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Claudia’s house. It’s one of the best AirBnB’s in which we’ve stayed. Ever. And Claudia is attentive, kind, and ready to make the stay a good one. This is this top of our list anytime we need an AirBnB in Woodbridge.

Great place with easy check in and check out. The view of the mountains is beautiful. Very clean with a lot of extra towels, and linens. The address listed is a bit different than what comes up on Google/Apple maps so that can get confusing.

Thanks again to our hosts! Great space near plenty of great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to grocery stores as well. Easy parking, so you can leave the car for your entire stay and just walk to your desired destination. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Richmond!

We had a wonderful night at the condo. Our host let us know in the morning it was clean and ready so that we could check in early. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again for sure.

Lovely apartment with many great restaurants nearby and within striking distance of DC.

Great place for a just me and my son for a couple of days skiing. Location is great. You can see the slope and the top of the Blue Ridge lift from the apartment. Just a short 5 min (with ski boots on) walk down 2 sets of easy to navigate stairs bring you to the top of the mountain, which is nice and flat so perfect if you are with some beginners. It's not a big apartment but comfy for a small family. The heating units is bit noisy throughout the place but not bad, we just turned it off at night. The Keurig machine and a stand filled with K-cups and the firewood outside the door, were a nice touch! All in all, a great place, quick responsive host in excellent location (you can even walk down to pick up your excellent pizza from the Upper Crust restaurant). Would definitely stay here again. A great place to stay for a ski weekend in wintergreen. Cozy and accommodating.

For a larger party of people, the price is hard to beat. Sleeps 8 comfortably on average of 60ish a night... right in the heart of downtown Frederick. The security and intro process to getting into the apartment is a bit of a hassle, but it does provide a nice safety element. It's slightly hard to park and unpack (especially with multiple people driving separately) but the walkability and convenience far outweigh those concerns. Overall, excellent location and I would recommend it highly.
