“Kuttappan and his wife are fantastic hosts and even better people! Kuttappan went the extra mile to pick us up from our bus when we arrived and he helped arranged sightseeing tours, Trek’s and also drove us to our bus when we were leaving even though it was at 7am! He also took us on a small walk himself to show us some secret waterfalls and some spices that grow in Munnar. His wife is such a lovely woman who constantly offered us tea/coffee. Her cooking is amazing we were spoiled with Indian breakfast and dinners every day they were delicious! The room was spacious and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone if they are visiting Munnar.”

“My stay here has been in all ways delightful. The surroundings are very quiet and the landscapes are resplendent - I would dare say : picturesque! - so if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind in a magnificent setting, this is it. I had just left the very noisy Kochi and coming here felt like being able to breathe again. The room is extremely large and very clean; the decor is soothing and the view is just amazing. Also : no mosquitoes! There is a lake nearby (35-minute walk or 10-minute ride by rickshaw, maybe less) where it is possible to do some boating, but be aware that the entrance is closed by 5pm. The center of the town is very close; you will find a few stores, bakeries and restaurants by walking on a straight line for about 15 minutes (with a rickshaw it would take 5 minutes and 30 rupees). Munnar is not too far and you will be getting all the information you need from Joseph to visit the tea plantations. You can also enjoy a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu show in the Punarjani Traditional Village. Joseph is very thoughtful and has helped me a lot, from the moment I had to take the bus and throughout the whole stay. He even prepared a soup for me when I arrived as it was pretty late. The breakfasts were enjoyable too. He will make sure you enjoy your stay in this beautiful area, that is for certain !”
Our home situated in the South Kashmir - Munnar in Kerala, where you can feel the real taste of tea plantations which has covered as a blanket in the munnar, and also you can feel the panoramic view of the high altitude of nature view. Unlike the typical Munnar resort or hotel, you will enjoy nature at It's and experience the village life with us.
“The homestay is outside Munnar town, away from all the noise and hectic. Joshy picked me up at the station and showed me around the beautiful area. The room is nice and clean, the bed very comfortable and the hot shower was a nice surprise. The homemade food was good and reasonably priced. A downpoint was that on the second day I simply had fried rice, while other guests had a full Keralan dinner, which was not even offered to me. So better ask if you want something different. Joshys children were amazingly friendly and spoke very good English, while the communication with Joshy was not always easy. It somehow worked out in the end. ;-) I was always given a very good tea and Joshys wife even helped me with stitching a pants. The family is always nice and welcoming! They always keep an eye on your privacy too. My highlight was the trekking and sightseeing tour with Ajit, which Joshy had arranged in advance. Ajit is a smart and funny guy who knows the area, the (ayurvedic) plants, spices and animals in Munnar very well. I learned a lot and had a fantastic day. I would absolutely recommend his tours!”
