“Ekta and Peter were amazing hosts. They went over and above for us.. they built us a fire pit as we miss camping, brought us more comfortable chairs, and were there with any information we needed. The cabin is cozy and rustic and has EVERYTHING you could need (I needed tape and we even found that in a drawer). The hot tub is fabulous annnnnnd we absolutely ADORED the chickens who act like dogs! They came running excitedly whenever they heard us out and about and even slept outside the door waiting for us to finish lunch or a game of cards We also recommend taking a pottery lesson.. It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. Thanks for everything! Cheers, Debra and Brent”
Blue Suite is full 1 BR suite with laundry, kitchen, futon in living room and folding cot for child. Private entrance, and deck with BBQ. Older home perched on hillside overlooking Van Anda Cove and beyond to Powell River. Sorry - suite is down flight of stairs so not wheelchair accessible.
“Wow!!! If you go to Texada this is the place to stay. The view!! wrap around window to soak it all in. Great 3 day stay! Cozy cottage to read, relax and to decompress from city life. We whipped up some steaks on the bbq. It was too cold to enjoy the deck but I did go out a few times to enjoy the incredible fresh air. We will be back.”
Our Tiny Home has beautiful views of Frolander Bay and is nestled on a hill at the top of our 2.5 acre property. For those who enjoy the beach, it is only a quick walk down the street to Beach Access on Scotch Fir Point Road and less than a 5 minute drive to a lovely private beach at Canoe Bay. The Stillwater Bluffs are walking distance and worth checking out, especially on a clear day! We are located 10 mins from the Saltery Bay Ferry Terminal and 25 mins to downtown Powell River.
“Kristin & Alex’s tiny home is everything and more. It is exactly as the listing describes and it was perfect for our stay. It is a unique experience with added personal touches (big yes for the fresh eggs, personalized note and candy!). We had always wanted to stay in a tiny home and this had it all. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to spend a lot of time outside. We watched the sunset from the Stillwater Bluffs which we highly recommend! Found the perfect spot when we hiked the trail the first morning. So much fun and so much marine wildlife we spotted (sea otters, seals and eagles are just a few). The hot tub was perfect after hitting the biking trails around. This is the perfect spot for either an active or relaxing getaway. Whatever you want really. We are talking about making this an annual getaway. Highly recommend! Thank you again Kristin!”
