I’ll share stories of its deep maritime roots and enduring spirit, and there’ll be time to enjoy a refreshing dip, weather permitting. • At tiny Vallon des Auffes, enter a world untouched by time. This tiny fishing port, with its colorful boats and legendary seafood spots, is a window into Marseille’s maritime heartbeat. As the barquette carries you back to the Old Port, you’ll leave with indelible memories of stunning views in a historic boat.

Then we’ll head out along the Corniche Kennedy, one of the most spectacular coastal routes. • After escaping the bustle of Vieux Port, stop at the Vallon des Auffes, one of Marseille’s most picturesque spots, and the Plage du Prophète, a wide, sandy beach. • Glide through the rugged landscape to the fishing village of Les Goudes, where we’ll take a break for drinks at a local shop before returning to central Marseille. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just looking for a new way to experience Marseille, you’ll leave with a fresh appreciation for the Mediterranean coastline.

Sailing Trip on a Catamaran in Marseille Bay

THIS IS A DISCONNECTED EXPERIENCE. Smartphones are turned off at boarding. You will embark on a 12-meter catamaran with François, a pro skipper, and quickly go underway, sails only, no engines, to experience the poetry of gliding on the water in silence. Help welcome ! Only if you wish, you can participate in boat manoeuvres and learn how a sailboat works and is safe. After a 1.5-hour, the boat will anchor in a calanque in the Frioul archipelago or the Côte Bleue, depending on the wind direction on that day. You will then be able share a drink, have a bath, paddleboard riding or just chill out. Note: It is a unique experience on a beautiful boat, in a warm atmosphere and an extraordinary landscape. Under the shade of the sails, in silence, your ability to marvel at the beauty of the sea will make a difference. François will do his best to make this to happen and it usually works wonderfully ! The sea makes us happy, allows to meet ourselves and the others. We will be back at Port de l'Estaque.

Explore a magnificient and unknown neighborhood of Marseille

In Marseille, you have tourist attractions as "le Vieux Port", Notre Dame de La Garde, la Canebière, les Calanques, the Stadium but you have also magnificent, really unknown and silent areas just next to the center of the city ! All the photos you can see, have been taken about 15 minutes far from the Vieux Port ! Leaving from Vallon des Auffes, we'll follow the all too often noisy and polluted "Corniche" by going through back roads. We'll pass at the edge of rocky coves less busy than beaches, and discover secret gardens, picturesque cottages, abandoned sculptures and old mansions by walking along green paths and banisters through a lush vegetation. A gorgeous route that only some insiders know about, if they live in the area ! For photography lovers or just for the pleasure, we'll take meditative breaks when arriving at the wonderful view spots over Marseilles natural bay. Of course I'll tell you about the history of this district and its evolution with the rise of the real estate and the arrival of « famous people ». After three hours power-walking (ascending and descending quite a few stairs !), we'll access to a little piece of heaven overhanging the sea.A guaranteed change of scenery ! Come with me to discover an other Marseille ! Other things to note WATCH OUT ! You need to be in good shape for this kind of walk. When we finish, I'll take you to the bus stop (number 83) close to the Prophète's beach or you can rent a city bike or scooter nearby.

Fat E-Bike Day Trip to the Calanques National Park..

Clearly THE best way to discover Marseille’s many facets while enjoying a memorable day on a Fat E-Bike! These electric bikes allow you to ride effortlessly on both paved roads and rocky trails, making exploration a breeze. Our adventure begins smoothly with iconic landmarks like the Palais du Pharo and the Vallon des Auffes, as well as some hidden gems just as spectacular. We’ll then follow the Marseille coastline from the Vieux-Port to the edge of the Calanques National Park, where the city gives way to untamed nature. A well-deserved swim in an emblematic cove, followed by lunch at one of the area’s best restaurants (not included), will punctuate our day. (You are also welcome to bring your own picnic if you prefer ) On the way back, we’ll ride through green havens like Campagne Pastré and Parc Borély, weaving through trails, gardens, and historic landmarks. No worries—we’ll take our time! Plenty of stops and free time are planned. The electric assistance makes the ride easier, but being comfortable on a bike is MANDATORY. Ready for the adventure? After a quick brieffing and handling of the electric bike we will go on a walk for about 2:30 to discover the city from west to east. Discovery of the old port, the Palais des Festivals. Walk along the Croisette to reach Canto Port and Palm Beach Point. Ascent of California to discover one of the most beautiful views of the bay of Cannes. Crossed the city of Cannes, by its commercial district. End of the visit in the old city. Other things to note The electric bike makes the ballad easy and pleasant. We will meet at the Vieux Port de Cannes for either a morning or afternoon excursion. We will introduce ourselves and we will do a short briefing before go to the ocean. You'll take pictures from original perspectives and spots, and bring back with you a lot of fabulous memories full of blue shades and magic colors in your smartphone or your camera. A view of paradise ! Other things to note Take a camera (smartphone), small sneakers for walking (easy walking but many stairs), bus tickets or change if bus on the way back.
